Niil
The end result will be the demise of PvP in the game. I dislike the complaints about pugs vs. premades as well, but the simple truth is your idea will discourage new and old players from PvPing, period. It will become the hobby of the elite, and the elite are few. Pug PvP players need to accept that they are at a disadvantage all the way around and live with it, period. The server pops are too low here to allow for segregated queues, and premades will always have an advantage against pugs. Why, exactly? If there's a large enough interest in premade based pvp, then the premade queue should be hopping, no? If there's not, then that means the vast majority of people who queue are queuing solo. The dissatisfaction of people who like to solo queue getting pitted against premades is apparent on these forums. Thus, if a segregated queue wouldn't work due to "low pop" that means it's actually due to the majority preferring to solo queue and an overall lack of interest in premade based pvp, not that there's not enough interest in pvp in general, and more specifically that the interest is in favor of solo queues, not premade based pvp. Queues should be segregated. There's absolutely no justification for them not to be, aside from people who premade wanting easy wins.
Zataos
yeah, smart solution, just cut off 90% -95% of the pvp population. An actual real idea that would work with 100% certainty, is to create a matchmaker system so that premades will be matched against each other along with pug teammates. Better yet, assign a "numerical value" to each player or group based on a Valor, Gear and Class formula and match those up to the opposing team, 90% of pvp balance problems solved.
