Magnusheart
It is already VERY Difficult to obtain Social Ranks, and it is very annoying to get another character up to battlemaster rank quality. With the new Craftable BM/WH gear having rank requirements. Why not let us Bind Social and Valor Rank to Legacy? Having a BM almost War Hero, I can totaly make use of my patterns to craft armor to my alts. It doesn't hurt anybody merging theses its nothing but Pros. Pro: Orange crafted BM/WH gear can be used for our alts without having to grind up the rank a second time. Pro: Everyone can see your rank on an alt to know your the real deal. Pro: Your alt being able to show off your pvp title. I really see no con in this.
thewatcheruatu
You probably won't see a lot of support for this right now, because if you've got the patience to level two characters to 50, it's not much of a further step to get them both outfitted in battlemaster gear. But as time passes and BioWare increase the steepness of the climb in order to satisfy all of the progression fiends, and it becomes increasingly impractical to play more than one character and stay competitive, you'll probably hear more people coming to this view. Social points are kind of just fluff right now, so I wouldn't necessarily agree that this needs touching. Though in the future, I guess I could see that it would make sense to change characters' individual social levels to be a legacy-wide social level, and just do it that way. Zarkkarn
Social rank is especially hard to gain, with the only real way esseles/blacktalon grind groups not really a fun experience especially if you have to do it on multiple characters. Either Social rank should be shared between the legacy or social items should be made bind on legacy so that we can give the items to our alts. Huxxar
I agree with both being Legacy wide. Social points are supposed to represent how you as a player interact with other players - definitely should not matter which character if they are all the same player. I can almost understand why Valor would be separate since PVPing on each character is a different experience to grind and earn, but I highly doubt you can successfully play one class to Valor 50 and not understand enough about the other classes that would warrant having to grind the other class valor up as well.
