Stealth Bugged?

So I was ruining around in the Alderan warzone yesterday and I timed how long it took for me to get out of combat. 21 seconds the first time, 18 seconds the second time, and 22 seconds the final time I timed it.

 

This is on top of people still being in combat after they rez and are waiting for the sheild to drop is just annoying.

 

Anyone else having the same problems?

Yes, all the time.

 

What seems to have an impact:

- Pugnacity running

- Dot on opponent running

- Having selected a target (deselecting seems to help sometimes)

 

 

All in all I have to say that dropping out of combat in this game is a joke. It's supposed to be 8 seconds after the last hostile action and DoTs are not supposed to count. That's what the developers told us. They even mocked us when we told them that we could not drop out of combat and restealth as intended. Go figure.

 

 

Further stealth bugs:

- XS Freighter Flyby puts some people in combat directly after the casting has finished (before the first tick) which makes it useless in lots of situations

- You can be stuck in combat even after you have been killed and respawned (usually happens in Voidstar and Huttball)

- You can be randomly popped out of stealth without being spotted from anyone, without daking damage from anything and without pressing any button - happens about 1x per warzone to me

- Sometimes you can be spotted from ~30m range even when stealthed

Thanks for posting this..I was thinking I was missing something...Ive played a assassin since launch and every once in a while I get pulled out of stealth...no ryme or reason...heck Im not even in combat when it happens most times but it sure doesnt help having to wait. I just completed a warzone where I was in stealth and hit blackout..it pulled me out of stealth. I accept the DoTs and being seen but this is just something else....please can we all start sending in tickets this needs to be fixed..by the way hardly any changes have been made to Asassins so I think this has been a issue since launch of game.

Those two have gotten very annoying. Seems to have started after an emergency patch for me. The randomly coming out of stealth happened to me on voidstar while I was smuggling people across the bridge too (no enemies around at all). Just sucks when you are trying to be sneaky, and kind of defeats the purpose of stealth if you can't rely on it.

I haven't had any issues (that I've noticed) popping out of stealth, but I completely agree with the time delay for going back into stealth.

 

I was playing a Huttball WZ tonight, went out fighting, got killed, re-spawned.

So here I am sitting in the shield area, I go to apply stealth...

 

"Unable to use while in combat."

 

Um, ok, but I re-spawned so...

 

"Unable to use while in combat."

 

Are you serious? I died! I'm not fighting!

 

"Unable to use while in combat."

 

Ok, whatever...I'll just wait for this shield to drop. Hey look! The enemy is getting ready to come down the ramp!

 

"Unable to use while in combat."

 

*Shield Drops*

 

Please?! I just need to sneak in and "Shoot First" that sorc!

 

"Unable to use while in combat."

 

Well...at least our guys are keeping him busy...

Let's not forget the 15-25 second waits while your still alive (but out of the way). Especially with DOT's or Pug on. I can't believe that BioWare doesn't see this as an issue...OUR PRIMARY ATTACK FORM IS BROKEN! If you're making a petition I sign it John Hancock style.

This bug has been here for a long long while. Still, BW insists that people will get out of combat after 8 seconds if there is no harmful action from you or your enemies is taken. In fact, it only works here and there.

 

I have a experience that I killed an operative in VoidStar, then stuck in combat for about 40 sec or so ( I ran around the map - my team broke through the door so it was empty, jumped on the space ship, danced for a while, /smuggle 3-4 times, after all of those I was still in combat). :o
