Rikeryo
we all know it - you push a button, you wait for the ability to be executed - but it won't. only the global cooldown is triggered. I'm experiencing this annoying bug every day. this happens mostly in non-player environments, but I've seen this also in warzones - quite often. this is gamebreaking. why hasn't this been fixed yet bioware? why is this issue low priority? Rehneu
Have also seen this and what seems to be a major delay now in abilities over all. That is, even without the GCD going into effect, things are not registering server side. Needs to be looked at as it is indeed annoying.
Dmasterr
It is caused by poor client-server sync. Your client tells you GCD is over and tries to execute the ability, server says no and offers no effect on said ability; which results in getting a fake gcd which only exists on your client side. The results can be replicated 100% of the time, just try to use an ability as fast as it comes off GCD (client side), you can spam it if you will. It will result in a fake GCD every single time. (well every other time, since you get 1 use 1 fake 1 use one fake cycle, client side) Problem could be fixed by lowering GCD on server side by 0.1-0.2. The client prevents you from activating things faster anyway, and now the server wont't be able to deny you your GCD. Workaround = wait 0.1-0.2 seconds extra before using an ability. It blows since you lose time every action, but its sure as hell beats waiting another GCD (1.5) half of the time, especially in PvP Edited May 9, 2012 by Dmasterr

Zadtro
This is getting very annoying. You are in pvp and your about to die so you think quick use undying rage or force camo and nothing happens but global cooldown goes off and your dead. My internet connection is fine. I have never had this problem in other MMO's so i still don't understand why this is happening. I don't know a lot about computers i just know enough to get along with things. Any help would be appreciated.
alen
I feel compelled to bump these threads every chance I get. It's like an itch, down there.. and all you have are little Tyrannosaur arms. That's the only way I can describe this bug, since release. It blows since you lose time every action, but its sure as hell beats waiting another GCD (1.5) half of the time, especially in PvP I suspect that the suggested fix has most likely been considered, but my assumption is that they don't have enough confidence in their client-side security to prevent eventual attempts at abuse. Although, it'd be nice to assume that even if someone did try to take advantage and push their GCD down to match the server-side 1.3-1.4 seconds, they would just run into the same issue we're having right now where the server would simply tell them to F off while their client wastes 1.3-1.4 seconds instead of gaining 0.1-0.2 seconds. Part of me hopes that a fix is coming, but considering how often this issue has been brought up and not addressed, it seems hopeless at best... BuzzingFridge
This is getting very annoying. You are in pvp and your about to die so you think quick use undying rage or force camo and nothing happens but global cooldown goes off and your dead. I was playing on my Operative the other day. Got jumped by a couple of Sentinels while I was dueling someone else so I popped Cloaking Screen and tried to run away...except Cloaking Screen didn't go off and I was actually still in full sight. There is something seriously wrong if players are dying solely because of a bug.

I also only suffer from ghost gcd's like 1% of the GCD's I use. (which mind you translates to about 1 ghost gcd per 2 minutes.. which is insanely often)
MidichIorian
My problem is that abilties I havent triggered go off. These things happen every time I play: *A second tele throw in warzones. I'm usually on the run after channeling the first one so it will look like I'm using tele throw while moving. *Disturbance after tele throw in PvE. I have tele throw on 4 and disturbance on 9 so there's no way that I accidently hit disturbance. *Toggling of quickbars. I have toogle previous/next on delete/page down, buttons I'm nowhere near. This has killed me a few times in warzones because I'm not constantly looking at my quickbars on the screen.

This has killed me a few times in warzones because I'm not constantly looking at my quickbars on the screen. The second tele throw might be because of the action ability queue delay or whatever. If you play with this on at like a 1 second delay, you hit your tele throw key twice in a row, it might think you're trying use it back to back or something. The ghost casting bar while moving I've had happen every once in awhile, but its pretty rare. Never had a problem with abilities I didn't hit going off unless the modifier registered but didn't trigger (happens from time to time with the focus modifier). Its usually the other way around. Ability will register, but not go off. Does your play style include toggling quickbars? If it doesn't, I would just unbind those. That's like the first thing I unbind. You should run a hotkey overlay or something so you can see if your keyboard isn't actually messed up. Record yourself playing. If the hotkey text on your abilities aren't lighting up, but triggering something is definately bugged. Oh and make sure you don't have any abilities bound on hidden bars. Like maybe your disturbance is bound to ctrl 4 somewhere and you accidently ctrl.
