Dubsful
Hi everyone, Being new to scoundrel I have been trying to find a post which includes a guide to stat caps and priorities but I havent manadged to find one. I have looked everywhere, I think.... So would very much appreciate if I could get some pro advice here. I play both PvP and PvE so interested in both. This is for SCRAPPER build and nothing else. - So what stats should I aim for? Think I read somewhere that there is a cap for crit? What percentage? Any other caps? - What is the perfect balace between crit/power/surge/accuracy in PvP with WH gear to maximize dps? PvE would be very interesting to know aswell? Can imagine that crit is more important in PvP than in PvE, or is it? - Is there an accuracy cap? What's the cap for PVE and PVP? Is accuracy as important as in WoW for example? - Expertise cap? Bottom line I want to maximize my dps in both pvp and pve but dont know how to weigh my stats. Naturally I dont have pro gear yet but aiming to improve my gear. Would very much appreciate some help. If someone could provide some info on this a sticky would probably come to big use for a lot of people. Edited May 8, 2012 by Dubsful

Power does not have any cap. - A perfect balance between crit/surge is about 1:2 (35:75 for me), the rest will be power. WH gears (Enforcer set) have alot of crit/surge but lack of power. Thus, the best customization is balance crit/surge to 1:2 ratio as above then use enchantments of feet of Field Tech set which give you Power/Surge and also use Overkill Augment (+ 18 power) for every single slot. Crit is important in both PvP and PvE, a non crit hit of Scrapper is weaker than normal hit of any other dps classes. -I Dont think there is an Accuracy cap. But with Enforcer BM gears (Assume you dont replace the original enchantments by other for min/max purpose), you can get over 103% accuracy (103% for white dmg and 113% for tech/yellow dmg). In PvE, some bosses have high parry/dodge/reflect to both kind of dmg so accuracy is needed. In PvP, Accuracy can make your white dmg attacks (Flurry, Quick shot, Charge Burst) more effective (way less miss/reflect/dodge with 100+ accuracy). -The maximum expertise you can get right now is about 1.3k (full WH), only available for dual weild classes since they can use 2 expertise crytals. Others can get 1.2k with full set of BM and near 1.3k with full set of WH. To maximize your dps in both PvP and PvE, along with the crit/surge ratio (35:75), you need to maintain your power so that your dps should be at least 880. Ofc, in new raid, aka Denova, you need to dumb your PvP gears for PvE ones. But for anything below that, BM or WH is enough.
