We all know in 1.3 that patch will have an Looking for Dungeon tool. Problem is its server only. It seems this is to appease the hardcore minority and Bioware has gone out of their way to appease hardcore minority by the Guild Summit.

For almost ten years no MMO appeasing the Hardcore minority has done well and they often go Free 2 Play or in the case of SWG they just shut it down completely.

Bioware stop wasting time we know eventually you'll see server only Looking for a Dungeon tool is going to need cross server, stop delaying. Also people the majority that pays your bills the casuals want the Looking for Dungeon Tools to include elite quests.

Most people are assuming that's going to be apart of what you're coming out with. Why waste so much time? They Hardcore minority will cry regardless and again look at your numbers they are going down big time. Don't wait until you realized you should have gone further. This game had a huge chance to do better then WoW with the rage going on being that Cata was made harder and the casuals wanted something new you tried to appease the Hardcore Elite, stop.

Guild Summit was the worst idea ever stop trying to focus or help out the hardcore minority.

At the conference call, they said casual players have unsubscribed. This shows that the majority of the ones still playing are the hardcore players.

But hey, don't let facts get in the way! Keep telling yourself that you are the majority.

I have a friend that works at Gamestop. She says that every time someone is buying SW:TOR, they ask her if the game has a LFG system similar to WoWs. And not in a "we want it" way. THIS is why they do not want to put one in that is cross server. The hardcore fans are the only people Bioware should focus on pleasing because they are the people who will stay here and not leave simply because there is no option to change your hair after you make your character.

I also love how you are saying that SWG died because they were only trying to please the hardcore fans. SWG died because they destroyed the game for the hardcore fans. Go and ask anyone who was playing pre-NGE, they will more than likely say the game was good. After the simplifications and WoW-style concepts introduced with the NGE, no one liked it.

Wanna know what kills a game faster than salt to a slug? NOT trying to please your hardcore fans. Without the hardcore fans who will be here forever, or at least till they destroy the game SWG style, there would be no reason for the casual people to play.

Casuals are the death of every game. Take WoW for instance. WoW first said no to the casuals we have only a 40 man raid but still gave them things to do that was fun and entertaining. WoW finally caved a bit and gave them some High end game content but nothing like the full 25 man raids. At the end WoW finally said the hell with it and we are going to give casuals everything they ever wanted. Now you have Pandas in WoW. Casuals maybe a large paying base but they tend to cry about everything being to hard and then when they have everything handed to them they cry about not having content. When you first start out a game that is just totally casual player orientated then neft the hell out of sh&^ because they start to cry, you then push pretty much the entire community of end game raider and pvpers away from your game. The end results are the casuals get bored and leave the game, you have some hardcores left but now they themselves are bored because they have all the gear due to casual friendly carebear action, now you have light servers because everyone starts to leave. End result server merge to 20 servers after the summer.

Hey folks,

We do understand you can get frustrated with segments of the community at times. However, creating threads such as these inevitably draws out negativity and non-constructive discussion, which does not help the situation.

As a result, we're going to go ahead and close this thread. We do hope that in discussing the game, people can constructively criticize and disagree with one another, as this leads to more productive discussion.

Thanks for your understanding.
