As a healer in pre 50, I simply cannot make enough medals quick enough to get anything from the WZ. I top the healing meters, and try to keep up on damage when possible too to get that third medal, but I can't get it, and at the end of all my incredibly hard work, I get 0. Bioware, you have made a really stupid move here, get rid of this medal requirement. I couldn't give a toss about afk abusers, ban them and let us people who are working damn hard at our classes play as intended, and not restricted by your silly system. All my matches yesterday were just fine. Exp was based on time spent in the warzone plus a small winner bonus, and only comms/credits/valor suffered from a loss. <.< I don't mean to be mean, but how does someone *not* get atleast 3 medals in a wz? Top heals should be atleast be the first medal, plus the 2.5k heal shouldn't be that difficult. Standing near an objective for any period of time hands out defender medals, and as a healer, you now receive a kill for other people killing if you're (edit: healing, not hitting) them. >.> Really... how does this happen? I am a healer and I average 10 medals per game. Something is wrong with how you are playing. If you cant even get 3 medals in a full game.... 2 Medals, not no medals, and yes, I was actually one of 3 healers, all of us getting only 2 medals, and yet the targets we were healing, 9 and 12. And oddly enough, I had both the 2.5k and 75k healing done, but after standing at the left defence point, under our control for 4 minutes total, did not get a third. Went on to Huttball, same issue, 2 healing medals, but could not get a third one. All games were in from start to finish, and not partially complete when joined. Also im not a stranger to PvP, I get, per game, 12 medals on my Jedi Knight every run, it is only on a healing character that I am finding I cannot get more than 2 without considerable luck. I am hoping it's a bug and not something that is a little overbalanced. Also do you have the source for this upcoming change? Couldn't find a mention of it myself. I play a commando healer and even on the worst of teams you can go to sleep and get at least 5 or 6. 90% of the time I'll have the 8 medal maximum well before the end of the game regardless of winning or losing anyway. To not get 3 you must be ignoring all objectives, not healing over 2.5k in one shot, and doing less than 75k total heals. Yes, at that point you ARE useless and deserve nothing. Edit: I see you claim 2 for the 2.5k and 75k total healing. So, you must have ignored the objectives the entire game, never snuck in a killing blow, had less than 10 enemies die, etc. I call BS. Doomsdaycomes Posted April 18, 2012 Share Posted April 18, 2012 Strange, my games yesterday seemed fine (though as a healer, I still get atleast 4, so can't confirm the one medal requirement.) I'll try and find the Dev post and edit it in, I didn't see it in the patch notes. If you are truely *not* getting medals for standing near a defended node (should be 1 easy) you may need to bug report.
