[VIDEO] Sage dps Balance 1.2 - Zkarlet commentary

I would seriously consider putting 2 points into telekinetic defense rather than Inmutable force, you get more benefit from spaming shield on you and getting hp by dotting everything around you than trying to cast a deliverance.

Also, abuse mind crush more, since you use a lot of telekinetic throw, your proc was up all of the time. Mind crush with 2 pieces of pvp set becomes a monster skill since you regain a lot of hp plus you can use it more often.

Cool. same way I've been playing the class since the nerf to Corruption.

Pillar hump - Free cast - top DPS charts.

Sadly on my server once an opposing OP or Marauder spots me I get farmed for free kills.

The class is fine when nobody bothers attacking us.

Hi guys!

Last night me and my guildies had some nice PvP runs. I recorded one match while I was playing my 5/5/31 spec.

I had a great time and hope you like the clip! Here it goes:

The spec I'm using during this footage:

Cya!

uh the OP sage/sorce i dont see this class getting balanced any time soon and loads of people play them. if they fixed and balanced this class all the kidsp laying them would threaten to leave the game lol

Thx for watching my video and the constructive criticism. I will try it out when I come home from work.

For PvP the total healing done over a course of a WZ from DoT healing is trickle in the thousands...low thousands. A few seconds of your cast heals will do more healing.

When I was madness pre-1.2, I was often doing 90-120k healing over the course of a match, and rarely was using casted heals. Shields certainly helped, but I would bet over the course of a competive match it would be much closer to 60-75k from the life leeching talents (plus PvP set bonus).

Nice video.

I would say that putting points into telekinetic defense vs. deliverance can be determined more by how much you are targeted than by anything else. On my server the enemy descends on me constantly, mainly because they know how much damage I can do. No matter how much I use force lift, stun, etc. I rarely can get away. It is not uncommon for me to have 4 or more enemies on me a good portion of every warzone (no bs). With 80% of my deliverance casts interrupted, even behind pillars, obstacles, etc. I absolutely need the extra absorption that telekinetic defense gives my shield. My guild-mate, however--also a Sage--is not nearly as much a target as I am (but should be!) and has the extra points in deliverance. It works really well for her.

Moreover, with the recent buff to Marauders/Sentinels I have found that putting points into Containment, once preferable, is now necessary. In the video you seem to use its effects (i.e., instant force lift) well.

Yeh Containment is amazing. So many ppl trinket out of Force Stun early so the possible full 8 sec instant CC is really strong!

When not hardcasting any heals I usually ends u with 50-70k healing so it's not that bad rly.
