overall 1.2 i've been enjoying it

i'm a warhero sage. in 1.2 it has a lot of changes to it, it took away my most beloved hybrid spec to a point i quit. and some of my fellow raiders quit because of the excessive nerf on sages. not sure if they'll come back. that's a set back for me.

 

on the other hand, i've been enjoying the new raids, flashpoint and dailies. i never healed pre-1.2, so as i spec'ed heal and heal pvp, i never really had anything to compare to, and it doesn't feel too bad with what i have now, in this patch it just feels like healers can't just stand there and heal through damage, i think the intention in 1.2 is to play as a team. now healers have to work with a tank to survive (guard+protect+kite+heal).

 

in pve, i've getting geared up, and helping my guildies gear up with the new blackhole gear. just cleared normal explosive conflict (it's really hard), cleared hm lost island (feel like it should drop better loot considering the difficulty, it should drop rakata and a chance to drop a campaign in the end). and just rushed through nightmare karagga server first.

 

there's been set backs in playing as a sage, but i see a lot of effort is being added to the game, overall, i think i'm enjoying 1.2. but... i really hope they bring back the hybrid spec. so many of my sage friends can resub again.

 

and... please make a DOTA STYLE PVP map or zone area. it'll be fun.

I agree, the 1.2 changes have been overall, quite good.

 

The sage nerf hurt (my main is a sage too) but it wasn't a fatal blow and let's be honest, we were OP.

 

Good to see another positive post! Hopefully we can get some more balance within the next few months. Now let's talk Marauders.

I don't understand why everyone is making this same statement. Lost island feels pretty perfect with respect to its difficulty and gear rewards. You can happily do HM without rakata gear, making the chest piece a very nice drop; and people have been brought along still with some tionese gear too, so the columi drops are also useful rewards. Add that to the fact that it goes towards a weekly for blackhole commendations, and I think the rewards are just about right. Justifiably better reward than the other HM FPs, as its harder to get through; but not so much reward that you could farm it through the day (HMs are repeatable remember) and forget about running HM EV/KP or SM EC for rakata gear.

 

Just because *you* overgear some new content, doesn't mean that the content needs to be given extra rewards
