Enkhrypthor
Hello all, Before start, this is not a flame post, neither trying to cause discussion or any kind of disagreement. Im just searching for opinions and advices Now lets start: Im a very, very casual player, with a guild that raids 2 times at week but after a few weeks im noticing that my server is dying , or, im logging on the time where the players are allready sleeping ( usualy i log on swtor at 22:30 gmt+0 ) Atm, i can say that i want to play, at least i try to. But then, whe ni log in, the population on republic fleet and other planets barely reach more than 19/21 players. so, as some of you know, that means long time to warzones, and barely a chance to form groups to do flashpoints. Thats pretty sad for me because i want to play more, ( not pve content, im not interessed on level another char at the moment) but until now, im just seeing myself loging in for 10 minutes, check the GTN, and put again my companions to go for diplomacy missions and then logging of to other rl stuffs or to play other games. I know that i dont want to send to trash the 70$ that i spend on the game plus the mensal signature. Anyone have an advice to how i can change the things up so i can enjoy more the game? Swich server maybe?
Revenaught
Hire a dedicated team of players of both factions to stay logged on 24/7 so as to be instantly able to respond diring the 10 min window you are available to start. Other than that well maybe....nah I'll just leave it at that.

spoonguy
You sound like you aren't having fun. I'd look at why you are logging in to begin with.

Revenaught
No seriously, Any advice? =) Seriously, and not trying to be offensive. If ten minutes is all you can stand to be on the game before logging off if players arent ready to do what you want to do right then, then honestly multiplayer games may not be the best gaming genre for you. I've got nothing else for you.
justahdude
congrats, you have stumbled upon the biggest secret... SWTOR players are anti social... with 19 / 21 players just on fleet (meaning probably not doing anything useful) you should be able to do anything... problem is every swtor player has absolutely no interest in grouping and has 0 concept of multiplayer. Netrok
There was an Ops Alliance established on our server which was very helpful in bringing multiple guilds together in order to have enough people to do HMs/Ops. There's also the fact that Empire seems to be more popular, maybe starting an alt over there. I can honestly say that the Inquisitor storyline is by far my favorite. Maybe logging in at different times, if that's possible. If you have friends on there starting over on a new server is likely your last interest, but it may have to remain an option. I hope you figure something out.
BenjaminminU
Could just try logging in earlier, or rerolling on another server and seeing if that helps.
Galbatorrix
I'm a broken record, I know, but I'd start a new class that you're interested in on a heavy pop server. Play the new class and have a blast with 150+ people on fleet. Once transfers are allowed, move over your "low pop" server character to your new server and you'll be set. I would say switch servers, Shien is good, on avg we have 50-75 and sometimes past 100 in the afternoons and 50 pvp has some pretty quick ques

If you have a good guild, then that should not be an issue, but if you have joined a guild that play at different times to you, then you're in the wrong guild. Catch_TwentyTwo
Reroll to The Fatman. Fleet gets over 300+ almost every evening. And y6ou get to queue for an hour before you get to play. /worstadviseever... What needs to happen is for the people from the low pop servers to re-roll to 1 - 3 of the other low pop servers in a coordinated way, thus bring them up to the Standard Population. If you are on a STANDARD server and think that populations are too low, then you have an unrealistic interpretation of what Bioware consider to be normal population. Not true, my guild is awesome, we are a small one, ( 45 players ) but we all contact each other on msn, skype, we play a lot of games together. But i forgot to say, every friday im able to join the raid. the problem for me is the days im not raiding =) I think il ltry to reroll on another server to check it out. actually im playing on Uthar Wynn server =) Edited April 18, 2012 by Enkhrypthor
