PvP weekly reward same as daily PVP reward? ***

Id really like an answer from a dev on this? is this bugged? 9 wins nets you 99/99. 3 daily wins gets you 99/99. makes no sense. Discuss

pre 1.2

daily = 1 BM bag

weekly = 1 BM bag + 2 champ bags

 

1.2

daily = 99 ranked comms + 99 wz comms

weekly = 99 ranked comms + 99 wz comms

 

it's pretty much the same...

 

if you want the equivalent of pre-1.2, you should be asking for 99 ranked + 99 wz + 2 pieces of recruit gear....

 

is that what you want?

that makes sense. 1 champ/bm bag pre 1.2 equals 99/99 post 1.2........

 

pre 1.2 weekly = 2 champ bags and option for third or 1 bm bag.

 

post 1.2 weekly..........99/99

 

hows is that pretty much the same? if champ bag dailies are the equivalent to 99/99 then a weekly should at least equal 297/297.

My theory is that they only coded for two digits and can't do over 99. :p

 

Do more stacks of 99 and face the embarrassment!

exactly...

when you are a battlemaster, trying to get more battlemaster tokens, champion gear is essentially useless...

just like recruit gear now would be useless to you now when you want more BM gear...

ok,i understand that clearer now, so in that sense, the bm comms are now actually equal to 99/99 for the daily.....however still....if the daily (3 wins = 99/99). then the weekly is still way under rewarded. no mmo game on earth except this one, there is a daily reward = to a weekly. so this still makes no sense to me

I find your sense of entitlement disturbing.

 

The most you need to spend now is what... 1600 WZ comms for a BM weapon? You used to have to take your chances with RNG and/or buy the 1k Merc 1K WZ tokens at 4k WZ tokens per... even with the ratio changes, this system is a lot more achievable.

 

I guess you'd like them to just hand out the second tier of gear? What would you do then? You obviously do not just PvP for the enjoyment of killing people if you need to think about AND take the time to complain about what amounts to free stuff for doing PvP... which a true PvPer would be doing anyway.

Are you serious its got nothing to do with entitlement daily = 3 games/ weekly = 9 games Why is the rewards the same!! They have made a mistake somewhere and tbh i love my grind and dont think am entitled to anything

I think the OP is expressing the frustration of missing logic in 1.2 when we were used to in pre 1.2 that a daily reward meant small reward and the weekly reward meant the big reward.

 

Having the 2 same quests reward the same now but one of the quests takes 3 times as long to do is not logic.

 

I remember discussing this with my guildmate first day of 1.2 and we automatically then assumed that 99 from daily would mean perhaps 199 from weekly, or even more giving the sky high war hero prices.

 

Boy was we wrong :)

I don't think it keeps them playing more, i think it tells them to log off log on an alt to lvl up.It can get very boring very fast trying to earn comms on an unbalanced server when your loosing 30 games a day and perhaps only winning 2-3.

 

Worst case scenario 30 loss's is 0-20 comms. no dail,weekly reward = depressed Republic player, which i see on a daily basis on my server, they often swap sides never to be seen for a week or two.

Some more math...

 

Pre 1.2, it took, on average, 8 dailies to get 2 BM comms, which bought most BM gear. That's 8 bags x .25 chance to get a comm. Grinding 1000/1000 should be considered too, so let's say 3 comms for 1.5 pieces of gear.

 

Now we get 792 WZ comms from 8 dailies plus all the comms from actually completing the dailies - about another 2000 comms if all you do is win and you buy some medpacs/adrenals. That's around 2800, which is 2-3 pieces of BM gear under the new pricing.

 

I'd say we are doing OK. I'd also say double or triple rewards from the weekly would be nice, since you get so many more comms from just playing anyway.

 

Edit: it's really closer to 2-3 pieces of gear for 2800 comms instead of 2-4, so I made the correction

You have 1 week to do the 9 games

You have 1 day to do 3

 

 

if anything the weekly should have less rewards because it is easier to get.

I rerolled from Empire to Republic, because of the imbalance. You know what I have to say? If you can't make some friends, get in voice chat and work together as... a team, you don't deserve to win games reliably.

 

Why do the Imperials 'always' win? Is it their abilities have no cooldowns? Is it that every single Imperial is 'full battlemaster' from the minute they hit level 50? No. It's that on most servers they have more players, meaning they can succeed in world PvP more. Oh... wait a minute, I thought that Warzones had fixed numbers.

 

If you want to win, you can QQ about populaton imbalances and wait for BioWare to give every character full War Hero gear at level 50 and/or cap the amount of players one faction can have per server OR you can dust the sand out of your... eyes and learn2teamwork.

There is no rule stating the weekly should give more.

 

Its a free bonus, you get the weekly done when you do your dailys without having to move a finger. Why the **** should it give more then?

Im simply asking a question? Im not on here saying "give me more comms or im going to quit."

 

I guess im not a true PvPer cause when i get done slaying pixels all day in warzones I find it odd that a daily and weekly gives the same reward. try reading the one sentence subject before jumping to conclusions and try to sound cool in front of your internet girlfriends tough guy.
