Voidstar speeder intro... WHY?!?

WHY is this still even in?!? It servers NO purpose what so ever. Several times we have had players still riding on the flipping speeders when the match begins meaning we are at a serious disadvantage. TAKE IT OUT OF THE GAME!

Did you run out of 1.2 content to rage about already?

lol i know.

I hate when games try to add story to something you are going to do 1000000 times.

The worst part is. Sometimes you have to watch the whole thing while you team is already fighting. If the intro is going to be longer then when the game starts just let me spawn in the room.

1.2 came with a fix. You won't be placed on a speeder if you won't arive in the starting room before the game starts anymore. So.... the only issue is that you'd rather be standing still in a room for the minute and a half rather than watch a "cinematic" ride to the room?

Well the "fix" obviously didn't work.

If a player honestly quits due to that speeder ride (which i do agree is useless) then everyone is better off. Because that player more than likely is going to suck.

Luckily this is hypothetical because people arent leaving because of speeders. Theyre leaving mostly due to lack of understanding of the 1.2 changes as well as some serious mob mentality. Oh and also the horrible situation re: availability of comms vs cost of gear and consumables.

You're missing what he's saying there. He's not saying someone made their reason for unsubbing "I had to ride a speeder OMGWTF!".

He's saying that a guy just got 25 commendations and 100 credits ten matches in a row, in gear that was optimal with last patch but didn't revert with the new patches changes(because the player didn't even think to save worthless enhancements) on a character that changed with an update, while infected with a virulent PvE disease(didn't they learn anything from the WoW zombie incident?), in a non-ranked PvP match...........

And then some goof put'em on a speeder that was supposedly fixed so as to not hamper the play of the warzone.

In a fluid playing game, any one of these things would be a minor annoyance at best. Stack them all together, and you get people downright irritated with their speeder ride.

And now you know..................the rest of the story.
