lironBD Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 don't know what about u but for me pvp was about team play and facing a foe which is smarter then the regular npc. now for the last few days I'm facing some serious issues with the pvp system. 1. UNeven teams. it's just not possible to play vs 8 players when on ur team there are only 4 or even 3 players! I remember pvp matches used to cancel when there were too few on 1 of the teams. 2. UNeven gear quality. so after getting my *** kicked here and there and learning how to utilize my toon on pvp I've learned from large number of ppl that three is a need for lvl 50 pvp to get geared in BM set.. Right now I have full recruit set + 1 part of BM. the problem is that there are some ppl mostly high end geared which I can't even scratch! they are immune to my cc and other affects. it was extremely ridiculous to see few moments ago how 1 sage can withstand an attack from 3 players. 3. Timing. I'm sure someone was thinking it's a good idea to add players into an existing match but add a player to a match which is going to end in 15 sec? new record. 4. and the most annoying of all! quitters. just because u don't think u'll win doesn't mean u need to rage quit and ruin everyone else game. hate quitters. English not your first language i assume? 1. Yea uneven teams suck, Q with a group and it wont happen as much 2. You didn't know about pvp gear before this? I dont think i understand what your trying to say here. Gear doesnt make them immune to CC, resolve bar does. Dee-Jay Posted April 16, 2012 Share Posted April 16, 2012 (edited) I agree, PVP since 1.2 has been a lot less fun compared to before. I blame this largely on the Expertise change and the lack of nerfs to Tank Assassins/Shadows. While the Expertise change made sense from a mathematical POV it didn't make much change from game-play POV. Damage/time to live ration was fine before 1.2. Now it just feels off. The healers nerfs aren't helping much either. What really bugs me though is that this development was very predictable after reading the patch notes. Players had a much better sense of what 1.2 PvP would feel like compared to the development team. Honestly, half of the class changes didn't make sense to any serious PvPer while the classes that needed nerfs escaped unscathed.
