Fixing TA for Lethality Operatives

Its really quite simple.

Licence to Kill (tier 5 talent Lethality tree).

Unfixed

Reduces the energy cost of Cull by 3/6.

Fixed

Reduces the energy cost of Cull by 3/6 and allows Shiv to be thrown increasing its range by 3/6 metres.

What do you guys think?

My take on the Lethality Operative is skirmisher type play - up close and personal but not quite melee range without feeling gimped, and given the choice of getting in melee range for the Hidden Strike openers and Backstabs when we want, which I am not sure are worth it anyway. But at least we then have the option, particularly with Backstab. I dunno jsut shooting some ideas. I am Concealment at present but I would love for Lethality to work in PvP.

I like it. I still feel like shiv alone doesn't grant enough TA, however. Concealment has Collateral strike for a TA every 10seconds and shiv every 6. If weakening blast granted TA also, that'd even put the TA generation, but the damage might too far exceed Concealment at that point.

I would like to think if there is some addition of a TA generation in lethality, it's lower in the tree so that it's more applicable earlier in the game for lowbies and more comparable to Concealment and medic for TA generation.

I had the same idea a couple of days ago. (not trying to steal your moment, OP, just saying that if more than one has the exact same idea, there is some naturality to it) ^^

Shiv's damage isn't very high as it is, so it's not like we'd get a super deadly ranged attack. It's high enough in the tree to keep concealment spec from using it. There are already talents that use the same "form" (at least one I know of: Displacement in the Marauder's Carnage tree). Furthermore, "Shiv" could easily both a throwing knife and a stabbing knife attack. (the Smuggler's equivalent "Blaster Whip" is harder, but there are ways around this)

NP - I am glad others have the same or similar ideas. Maybe BW will consider it, maybe they won't, but I thinks its the best way to move Lethality forward.
