elvavwiel
tldr; appreciate the effort, dislike being forced into it. While I appreciate the effort put behind the current Rakghoul event, i do not appreciate being forced/railroaded into it by getting infected by fighting in a warzone, or just standing at the gtn when some random person goes to stand there to infect everyone. Or when going into your ship bay, be afk and then find yourself dead upon returning from the bathroom, etc...(yes the 2k for the vaccine isn't a big cost, but its not something you should be forced to do if you don't want to) Not everyone wants to do/participate in the event. NorrinRaddd
So don't buy the stim and wait to die... Seriously do people just want to complain about everything these days? Its because we have the single worste forum community in an MMO, in all the times ive played MMOs not once havei seen people ***** this much about something completely optional.... Stradlin
I've tested few more MMOs than I'll ever care to admit. As a result, I've read more MMO forums than is healthy for one person. Never seen anything quite like TOR forums; p Generally speaking MMO players have always been prone-to-whine primadonnas but truly, TOR community is in her own league. Like 60% of all the bïtching going on in these forums is well beyond ridiculous. This is a shame since the game does have good number of issues worthy of whining. It's just that it constantly gets eclipsed by BS like this. "Waaaah I don't want fun live events near me waah waaah" Hahahaha OP either by borderline free vaccine->problem solved OR don't spend your day sitting in fleet->problem soved OR just stop caring you occasionally get the plague->problem solved Haha, looks like NorrinRadd has exact same thought more or less at same time. Personally I don't truly mind one way or another about pathetic condition the forums are in. It is bit of a shame BW has gathered such useless community though. No dev in his right mind would ever spend one second reading BS forums like these->It gets difficult to interact with playerbase in remotely meaningful fashion-> It might get harder for them to impove the game. Qoojo
OP either by borderline free vaccine->problem solved OR don't spend your day sitting in fleet->problem soved OR just stop caring you occasionally get the plague->problem solved Or queue for pvp, as it cures the player once you get into the WZ, or maybe it was my death in the wz that did that, not sure Edited April 16, 2012 by Qoojo
elvavwiel
It is a valid point, i can handle patches that change arround a lot of things, but i do not like being 'forced' to participate in stuff i do not want to. Those taken unawares might die doing a quest mob without properly realising what happened. If i don't want to do an event that should be entirely up to me. something completely optional.... It's not optional as other players infect you without you getting any say in it. That is my problem with this event, not the event itself. Diviciacus
Or queue for pvp, as it cures the player once you get into the WZ, or maybe it was my death in the wz that did that, not sure Nope. I got infected in a WZ; and dying there doesn't cleanse the infected status. Not that I mind.
Meluna
Hello there, everyone! We do have an existing thread for sharing their thoughts on the Rakghoul plague. We'd appreciate it if everyone could head on over to the existing discussion and continue it there. This will help keep everything nice and consolidated. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=416845 Thank you!
