Priorities: what are your HOPES?

Dear fellow-ToR lovers like me, share with me the priorities you want to see BW working on really fast. Write down 5 points like I will do in the next lines.

 

1. Server merge/Legacy free Transfer. NUMBER ONE PRIORITY, for people surviving on low pop servers. This people need love.

 

2. PvP Rewards back to 1.1.5. I have 2 toons one rank 76 full BM, no problem to get comms and valor. The other one rank 58, champion/centurion geared really in trouble to advance in rank and gear. I figure out what a frustration it is, for those who grinded their champion gear until 1.2 messed everything up, and now they are losing fun and hope in WZs. I'm with you bros,

 

3. Black Hole Comms. Give Black Hole daylies the new Black Hole Comms as reward instead of Daily comm., really too hard to get the new gear if you are in a low pop server, where there are no people to farm FP and OPs.

 

4. Link set bonus to pre 1.2 PvE and PvP sets or all your "great orange augmented gear" is not worth it.

 

5. LFG Tool. It's incredible we still do not have it.

 

All this priorities should be on line in the next 3 weeks or you will see a lot of game-lovers leaving sadly.

Something needs to be done for alot of issues but I really hate when 1 person tells people that ALOT of people will leave if "blah blah blah" isnt fixed immediately. You speak for you and you alone.

Thank you for your answer. I wasn't speaking for me, cause i will leave when they chase me. But on my servers a lot of peeps are sad and bored of the desert they move in.

Bugs, bugs and more bugs. The graphical bugs aren't gamebreaking or anything, though slightly annoying when I'm watching a dialogue cutscene and Kira's lightsaber happens to be flying around the background of the NPC talking...or she's cloned herself and now there's two of her, one talking and walking the other frozen in midair.

 

At first I was laughing but now I'm scared of her, I think she's posessed. Sometimes she turns jet black.

 

Also getting to the end of Cademimu for us to burst into flames and die before fighting the final boss. Yeah that was fun.

Server Merge ? NO

 

Server Transfer SERVICE ? yes, either FREE transfer out of low pop / imbalanced server into specific server ( basically a stealth server merge )

 

Free or Paid ? Free for transfer to specific servers to improve population faction balance, Paid for transfer to server of your choice..

PVP need lots of repairs ASAP. The imbalance WZ queue , PVP reward for lv10-49 pvp , Separate Pre-made and Solo WZ, Ranked WZ for lv50 PVP

is this because you press 'space' to speed up convo and the animation cannot follow / not synchronized ? it happend a few times and kinda funny too but usually if i dont space bar it is ok

never happen to me before .. wow the worst thing that happen to me was all 4 rocket fire because of too much DPS.. then again if you solo cade / got companion out , you can tell companion to attack boss (you all waiting outside boss room) and then pull your companion back to you.. that way boss wil lfollow you out of the rocket room

PVP issues are priority one for me, rewards, progression, matches starting with 4 and running the course and class nerfs revisited.

 

After that probably the audio issues that have cropped up - turning every cutscene into a mimefest

 

But really i'd happily never hear my characters speak again if the PVP issues got fixed

Re 1.: Server merges won't happen so I wouldn't waste too much time asking for it.

Legacy free transfer would be a solution for single players, but only if they were the only ones allowed to transfer. If everybody is allowed and starts moving legacies around, the outcome is unpredictable. The first transfer wave will probably lead to a couple of super-dooper high populated servers; then people will start complaining about waiting queues and a second transfer wave will take place and the current situation will be back again; and so on.

I agree whole-heartedly with 1, 4, and 5 but the rest are really non-issues for me. I would like to see group Q's for PvP actually put you back in the same group afterwards (instead of having to re-form) and I would also like Ranked WZs to happen already.

I guess mine would be...

 

1. Character customisation. Hate the term "barber shop" for it, but essentially... for the ship droid to be able to restyle my hair, do my make up, tend my wounds (i.e. add/remove scars) and work on my cybernetics on characters that have them.

 

2. Make "/ignore" also equal '/de-render' and '/forbid target'. Thus, at a stroke, the "idiots showing off their flashy speeders and further lagging the lagmonster of fleet" problem is resolved *without* having to ban speeders in fleet- just that, if you drive your Coruscant Tractor around noisily, deliberately park it in front of the vendors, drive through and park revving next to people all the time just to show off... don't expect anyone to answer you when you ask for a group

 

3. Fix some of the graphics bugs in conversations.

 

a)Having to escape-out and restart, or sometimes even relog to stop characters eyes turning black/disappearing/going all possessed-shiny-spirally is annoying, especially if one happens to be grouping at the time.

 

b)From time to time, when one kills someone in conversation mode, one's weapon simply... doesn't appear, and one ends up playing "air sabre". Fortunately, the victim is kind enough to die anyway.

 

Minor glitches, although the eye thing is downright creepy.

3) A fix for Republic "insta" abilities that actually have delays (project and the scoundrel thingy i cant remember the name for)

4) Crafting to be viable (stop giving blue items as quest rewards)

5) more varieties of WZ's (the new one from 1.2 is just a clone of alderaan civil war)

No I usually like to pay attention to the dialogue scenes. But for some reason they've started to bug out after 1.2 was installed. My companion's lightsaber is constantly turned on, and then starts to appear in the background during dialogue scenes when she's not even on screen. Kinda funny but kinda weird too.

 

As for Cademimu, sadly it has nothing to do with dps. We caught fire and died instantly before having even started the fight. From what I've heard from a few people on my server, it's been happening to them a lot too.

1) A comprehensive manual (digi or printed) that gives all the mechanics, equipement stats, etc.

 

2) Space-combat worthy of the name "Star Wars", not something that plays like a 1980s arcade game.

 

3) Vehicle (both Speeders and Ships) mods for aesthetics (paint options, winglets, bigger guns, etc.). Also, more options in vehicle choice (eg. all Speeder body-types available at lvl-25, speed upgrades at -40 & -50 for $20k [-40]).

 

4) Character clothing customization; color selection. I want my Marauder to dress in black/gold., Merc in all black, Sentinel in black, Vanguard in green, etc...

 

5) NO server merges. I like my low-pop server. Fewer weasels to get in my way while I'm soloing, and fewer putzes (though it still happens...) who ninja the Slicing resouce or chest I'm in the process of killing that Elite to get at.

At first I enjoyed the space mini-game. It was an easy way to get extra XP and was kinda old school fun.

 

But after a while it gets so repetative and boring.

 

It still remains an easy and quick way for extra XP however.

1. ALL set pieces bonuses moved to armorings, not just new sets.

 

2. LFG system (this is a low priority for me as i mainly pvp and have guildmates but i feel it should be a feature)

 

3. bring back ilum. make it a hub for daily activity. in other words.. create a reason to go there so we actually get some world pvp going.

 

4. ui customisation improvements - ability to change unitframe/castbar etc.. appearance, snapping, auto center alignments. too limited at the moment for my liking. (a VAST improvement on what we had before though, very happy with what was supplied, although the green borders made it nearly impossible to align things properly)

 

5. resolve bar/stun/knockback re-evaluation.

feels broken. stunned for your entire health bar isnt fun (im talking BM+ gear levels)

knockbacks seem broken. my sages knockback either doesnt work (empty resolve bar) or pushes them back a meter or 2 yet i'll get punted by a jug or something halfway across the huttball map. considering a sages also does the worst damage in the game i think they need to be looked at and rebalanced.

 

agree or disagree, its all personal opinion but those are my top 5:)

 

if i had to name a 6th id say speeder speeds are woeful, especially when my sprints faster. but i can live with it.. kinda.

1. improve the LFG tool. Make it so that it displays everyone (from your faction) with their LFG flag up where ever they may be... across all planets and stations and what not.

 

2. Real 3d multiplayer space combat.

 

3. Same gender romance.

 

4. more modifiable gear. specifically heavy armor versions of the social gear... light armor wearers shouldn't be the only one able to wear the social gear in combat.

 

5. Barber shop/ more character customization/ more companion customization.

Yeah and why we are at it lets give the unyielding title to everyone that logs in for an hour as low populated servers might struggler to get an ops group

3. Ability to select a warzone to queue into or extra rewards for queuing random

4. More stable latency in warzones (no more teleporting ball carriers and no it's not on my end lol CS)

This would be a start. I won't be back until some of this happens. I actually love the game but always seem to run into a bug/glitch or bad dev descission whenever I start to enjoy it. I have played since beta so have seen 95% of content up until 1.2; which looks to be heading in the right direction but still a long way of what mainstream progression MMO players* are used to (in design/features and content). Hopefully it all comes together in the long run.

 

 

* I generalize myself as a mainstream progression MMO player, not my opinion as the views of the mainstream.

pvp is no fun, the leaving on a whim needs to stop, people would not leave as often if the losers were still getting something for thier efforts, that has already been proven pre 1.2 the losing super bowl team still makes a pretty good pay off.

 

more diverse content, like mini games, pod racing, cantina games, sandbox elements

 

overall bug fixes

1. Increase character slots pr server

2. Fix it so that if you have 2 characters of the same base class, all 10 companions contribute to the presence bonus, not just 5.

3. Fix the sound on the fleet

4. Improve loading times for planets (it "freezes at 30ish % too long, on my new computer its not that much of an issue, but on my old computer I can log in, go make a cup of coffee, come back, drink the coffee and still not have logged into the bigger planets).

5. Boost the expertise on the centurion and champion gear, so that all those (including me) that have that gear is not left as such a big disadvantage in 1.2.
