My server is dead, is yours?

I play on Niman, we had a good thing going on, today is all dead. There is a few online always, but when you log and there is from 25-45 in imperial fleet and that number hasn't gone up in a long time, I say its dead. We where 14 in my guild moved over from WoW, now there is only 5 of us left.

It no fun playing up a new charater thru Legacy, when there is no one to do flashpoints and quest with...

Anyone have a server where there are some life? Or should I just give up?

It really depends on what you want to do, re-roll and wait in queues, wait around to see if transfers ever happen, or quit.

I personally just hit the cancel subscription button myself, but the choice is yours alone to make.

Good luck in whatever you decide.

yeah fatman.. got a queue of over 500 with about 35min wait

We're always over 250 in the fleets(rep and imp) at peak hours :D

250 in the fleet in the SECOND instances. First instance is completely full (which I didnt even realize was possible until fatman).

Its no fun playing on a dead/light server. I rerolled on a server that is very heavy, but BW needs to do something about this fast before ppl start quiting. My main is on a dead server and i want to tranfer him to a server that more busy. BW Hurry and fix this like NOW!!!

Yep. Kinrath Spider.

Bioware is too damn proud to admit they opened too many servers, and close a few of them.

They only did what the players asked for. Folks screamed murder cause they had to wait a few minutes in a queue at the start of the game, now as a chunk of the population has either stopped playing or moved on completely, you have a bunch of near empty servers. If anyone blame the fickle community heh.

Kaas City is doing well, even on the Republic side.

Always have enough people to do stuff, and around 100 people on fleet at peak times. Leveling planets typically have 20-30 people each.

Never have queues though, which is nice.

I think many (not all) who want server transfers are under the mistaken impression that they will be allowed to move to one of the "heavy" servers like Fatman. It won't happen. You will be allowed to move to standard or light servers.

They are just kinda dumb. Every MMO goes through the same phases. Launch has 3 times the normal population the game will really have. A lot of people won't ever subscribe after the first few months. They should have know this and planned for it. They were so proud of their awesomely stupid phase launch, they didn't realize some servers would end up with low pops? COME ON MAN. Now they will pay the price because a lot of the people on those dead servers will just quit.

It is just sad how many MMOs have screwed this up and lost a lot customers as a result.

There is only two things to do (and we know that Bio will not fix it itself):

1) if you love the game and want some MMO feel then REROLL to a heavy to full server

2) if you are meh about the game then just quit

I rerolled myself because I just love the SW theme and the game is decent enough.

Rubat Crystal is average. I see 80-90 on Repub side fleet quite often.

As far as to many servers? You can thank those who complained that there weren't enough during early access. Then again, there was a que on pretty much all servers at that point. Its a damned if you do and damned if you dont situation.

Think a fair amount of people went with option 2 which caused this issue to begin with. Kinda sucks that everyone has to pound onto one server just to get a decent experience with the game. how long before that becomes it's own problem when everyone is told to go to say, fatman?
