Gungan
Why does every content creator have to throw in zombies into every friggin' genre? Fast zombies, voodoo zombies, big fat puking zombies, nazi zombies, t-virus/infected zombies, husks, and now Star Wars zombies? Come on. I'm am sooooo over mindless cannon fodder enemies. This isn't 2008. People deserve a more interesting and cunning enemy, with motivations that we as players could discover. I don't know about you, but I've read almost 100 extended universe novels, and not one included the mention of any kind of zombie. Not every IP needs zombies. Cerion
uhm, BioWare had Rakgouls (ie sort of like zombies) before zombies had reached their current popularity. I'd be like asking Tolkien (if he were alive today) to stop writing fantasy novels about elves because everyone else is doing it, lol. fyi, I know BW didn't invent zombies..just saying they implemented Rakgouls well before the current fad. Rakghouls were introduced in 2003 when the original KOTOR came out.
kercchaos
Also, it's nice that there is this in game event going on... Bioware does anything... even if it's something nice... there is somebody on the forums ready to QQ about it. Sheesh... And like the person above me said. Rakghouls were established in KOTOR 1 as a product of sith machinations. Not just zombies. They're genetic mutations which means there is a potential for the rakghouls to evolve into some hyper-intelligent baddies. Take a happy pill mate. Talahar
Also one of the throwbacks to the original first Knights of the Old Republic. But I have to admit, they maybe overdid the whole rakghoul thing on Taris a bit.... At least with my smuggler I was really sick of the buggers when I finally left Taris. Less so with my inquisitor.... Also, as far as I know, with Koan Under Siege and Lost Island that particular Rakghoul storyline is indeed supposed to be done. Haven't played them yet though, so I don't really know.

Spectus
I wonder: can the rakghoul plague infect a krayt dragon?
Gungan
Rakghouls are apart of the Star Wars universe...They are not zombies, they are Sith-spawned Mutants. That may be so, but they still act like zombies. If it looks like a duck, and talks like a duck...

Cerion
That may be so, but they still act like zombies. If it looks like a duck, and talks like a duck... Then you really have no idea what zombies are, nor the mythos around them. May I suggest watching Zombieland or Night of the Living Dead, where zombies are slow, plodding, and dumb. Compare that to a Rakghoul which is hyper fast, cunning, and vicious. Oh, and some are force users.
