Duel or Multi-specing a character

I would like to see Duel or Multi-specing of a character. For those that don't know what this mean, you would be able to switch between different Tree Builds on a character. This would allow a Tank or Healer to be speced properly for party action and then also have a DPS spec for PvP or PvE activities.

I think in this game, you would only need a dual spec. However you will not be able to change your advanced class. For example, you can't spec a Sawbones scoundrel and a gunslinger saboteur. Your pick of an advanced class is your own. But for those classes that aren't straight dps, having both a tank/healer spec and a dps spec would make you more flexible.

 

MIND YOU, with the how the trees are set up at present, for heroics at least, tanks and healers can do decent dps, and occasionally the dps specs can do decent healing/tanking. This however won't work for flash points. I therefore move for a dual-spec available at 50.

I agree with you on the dual spec at 50. However, would a consular sage be able to run down the seer tree for healing with spec 1 and the balance or Tele tree for DPS with spec 2 and be bound to just healing and DPS or would you somehow be able to dual spec seer sage for healing and still be able to tank as well? I know that would require a change in advanced class but COULD it somehow be possible?? Maybe as a legacy option??
