Legacy weapon item

As you all may have noticed, you should have received through in game mail an item with which you can craft some sort of legacy weapon. Where do I use that item? I looked at the map to look for some kind of new vendor in the fleet but I didn't find it. Also I didn't made any thorough tour around the fleet to find it as it was already late and I had to log off.

 

Can anyone tell me where and how this is used?

There is a vendor on Coruscant for the Rep side and one on Dromund Kas for the Imps. You can swap them there

Yeh my level 50 turned in my legacy weapon thing and got a level 14 lightsaber. Good times?

Same here...what we do with that item?, I noticed the daily vendors on Corellia also sells other types of this items...(headgear,leggins, chestarmor, etc.) but how can we use them?

What kind of items can they be transformed?

just a little note to people, send the legacy token to the char you want the legacy item on, I saw a post from bw that you get the class relevent weapon/armour only on the class you buy it on.

 

could have possibly changed but it may still be on the hot topics of the ingame help desk.
