My 1.2 Thoughts

Turns out, the DPS nerf was nowhere near as bad as I expected. Switching from Hybrid to full Madness, I'm still doing 400k+ per WZ, and I'm doing even more self healing. I find that I kill just as many people, it just takes a little longer and more kiting, which is provided by CT. The expertise changes do make us somewhat squishier, but since full Madness is replacing the Hybrid for PvP we should be doing a lot more healing and a lot more kiting to survive. In PvE, I had no trouble at all in EC. Much less force trouble than with the hybrid spec, and I'm still always second behind the tanks in threat, which tells me I'm still doing the most DPS.

As far as healing goes, not so good. Our Sorcerer healers were having huge force issues in EC, and when they were focusing on keeping themselves up/getting force back, people would die because of those wasted GCD's. Sorcerer healing is laughable in PvP: 1 interrupt, 1 stun, and dead. I really hope they add some new dynamics to how we heal; maybe then I'll go back to corruption.

I would really like to see them give us another HoT or two that do moderate healing with a medium length CD. I would also like to see more creativity with Force Bending and Wrath, as right now Force Bending doesn't give you much leeway, and Wrath is up nearly 100% of the time being wasted. With all of the raid damage going on in EC, perhaps making Wrath affect Dark Heal could help us fulfill the support role BW intends for us. Enrage timers don't really seem to be a problem, but raid healing definitely is.

For those of you who are QQ'ing about the nerfs, you just need to adapt or reroll. The skill curve has just gone up for this class, and Sorcerers ARE viable in 1.2 as healers in PvE and as DPS in both PvE and PvP.

How do you manage your force usage in pve/pvp with madness? I have no issues what so ever with the hybrid, but I find I need to constantly spam consumption to keep my force up if I go too far into Madness. I'm probably just doing something wrong, but would like to work it out sooner rather then later.
