RikHar
Maybe I misunderstood, but while skimming thru' the patch notes I saw it said you could trade "bound" items by mail to any character on your account, even if they weren't of the same class. So is it like this or was that for something else? And if so, how do you do it considering the mail doesn't take items that are bound. Maxican
If I'm not mistaken, and I wouldn't be surprised, but I believe those were "Bind on Legacy" items that will occasionally drop while you fight mobs.

Yes, it's bind to legacy items which is basically bind to account.
istvana
The mail does take bound-to-legacy items if you are mailing to a character in your legacy - which includes characters in the other faction. Note that an "alt" needs to be logged in after 1.2 went live in order to be recognized as a legacy character - until that is done you can't mail the item to the character.
