Two, I would suggest perhaps rewarding those who have been playing since day 1 with a little more, perhaps a small discount on their payment. I do not care much for the wording, since I am a very loyal customer and have not yet reached level 50. However people need to calm down, yes it a little offensive, but it is not a huge insult. I am myself am a little disappointed with not receiving the 30 free days, but am not devastated. I will continue to support the game by playing, because despite the errors and mistakes this game is awesome! An apology would indeed be nice. But frankly no matter what Lucasarts, Bioware, and Ea do they cannot please everyone. There are those who are loyal, and there those who are not. Also for your information, quitting the game takes away your label of being "loyal" for considered if a friend said they were loyal, but then ditched you, would you consider them loyal? So, yes it is nice for those level 50, Congratulations, but ultimately not a good decision. So thank you EA, Lucasarts, and Bioware for a good game! Next time think through what you are doing and what its impact will be. Sorry for all those who didn't the 30 free days of game time, like me. Be Happy! I second that, if playing the game from very early in the release is not considered "loyal" then maybe your "less loyal" customers should ditch you? I am glad to see at least one person who has managed to get to level 50 with at least one of their characters seems to feel that those of us, for one reason or another, that has not yet reached 50 with a character is getting the short end of the stick with this promotion. I am happy to see that you, BioWare, are trying to make your players happy. Your trying is much better than I can say for many games I have played. So even though I feel left out I will keep hope that you will at some point reward the rest of your Dedicated player base in a way that is equally amazing as you are doing for those players that have reached max level already. you are not considered their loyal dedicated player base..... neither am i or anyone without a lvl 50... nuff said Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

This server down during peak hours nonsense happened earlier this year. Did they learn their lesson? No. Did they offer compensation? No. Let me borrow 30 bucks. What lesson? This happens with programming you change one thing and it affects another. We just got given a big *** content update FOR FREE and 30 days free play time and you are moaning because something went wrong and they are trying to fix it lol. They have not robbed you of anything. I don't know how many MMO's you have played but a lot of the time when this happens, and it always happens with large updates, there is no apology and certainly no free play time so really you should be grateful. To those moaning about not having a level 50, just stop. There is no valid reason why you wouldn't have one other than being new to the game. With all due respect, this is a game and sometimes unforseen things happen. I have been playing MMOs since 1999 and this is something that happens in EVERY game I have ever played (over 20 MMOs). Its something you have to either deal with or stop playing MMOs. Sometimes things happen with patches and they can not get the servers back online when they say they will. I would rather have a stable patch than something put out and there are still issues and bugs. I dont see the point in getting all upset over it. Its a game. There are millions of other games out there... and if that fails... got outside and enjoy the day, go be with friends, family, children... its a G A M E. Also, why should they offer compensation? Because the servers were down for a day or two? Who cares. Life goes on. If you want compensation, you really shouldnt be playing MMOs. Only once or twice in all my years of MMOs has there ever been compensation for downtimes... and that was because they lasted a week or more or because peoples accounts were all jacked up when they logged on. Over all, just remember, this is a game and a company. They are doing everything they can to get the servers back online as fast as possible to keep people playing and paying. Some have only done it once and didn't want to re-roll. It's easy and can be done with little effort over the course of four months even for a casual gamer. Anyone who hasn't experienced endgame content at this point is casual to the extreme or completely ocd about creating and deleting characters. yes, but they are also something else. It's all a cunning plan, 'break' the game for a day and then announce that due to this extended downtime we're extending our 30 free days offer to ALL current 'loyal' subscribers.
