I'm not sure if anyone has made a post about this yet but is it just me or is the human race being screwed over in the 1.2 patch? More specifically the new legacy class races aka chiss jedi knight/sith pureblood smuggler etc. Every class can be human right? For me I leveled 3 classes to 50 but they are all human. So what, no special perks for me? No transferring my race to a class that previously could not have been used by my race? Oh wait! Every class could be used by humans! If I was a sith pureblood and lvl 50, now I can make a sith pureblood jedi knight! But since I'm human, that whole race transfer system basically doesn't exist because every class is already playable by humans. My point is I think humans (who reach lvl 50) should get something special too for new alts they make, just as other races can now use their race in different classes. Maybe a new perk, something. Just feel like humans are being left out. Unless I'm completely wrong and there actually is something in which case please tell me!

Double post sorry. Dang iphone.

Exactly, and though my two 50s are aliens I will still buy the legacy +100 presence because that is simply a HUGE buff for leveling characters. While leveling your companion is your greatest tool.

OP: if you leveled three toons to 50 then why in the world does it matter to you if other people get species unlocks for their main. You obviously favor humans so I don't see why it matters to you at all. Humans get the ONLY bonus usable in combat. I'm sorry to say it but please grow up and look at it from a more mature perspective.

You're right. Maybe the 100 bonus to presence is a good thing. In fact it's better than receiving nothing! Just imagine how strong your companion will be in the first 3 starter planets. Whether that's a good thing or not idk because this game is pretty easy in the first place...

Question: do cyborgs count as a human or are they a considered a completely different race all together? Do you unlock cyborg for all classes after 50 or do you get the same bonuses humans get?

Cyborgs are unlocked for all classes when you hit 50 with one, also you unlock each class's different cybernetics. So you can be a Jedi Consular cyborg with the sith warrior cybernetics. :)

The only reason human are at a disadvantage in 1.2 is that they were at an advantage before by having the possibility to become every class.

So I think it's normal human doesn't have more advantages in 1.2 than the presence buff.

Anyone know if the 100 presence boost can be applied more than once? Like if you have 3 level 50 humans, do you get 300 or is it capped at 100?

Gonna second that question. Anyone knows if the bonus stacks higher the more human characters you have or is it single application?

If it did stack it would completely unbalance the game. You could solo flashpoints and be unbeatable in open world pvp. Use some common sense people. Why, you ask? Because deleting a character doesn't remove the legacy unlocks. People WOULD make humans to get like 2k+ presence, it would be inevitable.

1.2 is an urban legend stop talking..

haaaaaaaa.

but really. its the best bonus by far. when soloing its increasing your DPS, perhaps you would like the option of making a even fatter human.

I am very intrigued by what Gabe said, where you can use your companion for hardmode FPs. Can companions become that strong?

I've done hardmodes with companions before.

Humans are the only ones that give you a specific stat boost in the Legacy system. Every other race is just unlocked.

Seriously, this is more than enough. You really need to stop complaining about stuff that is purely esthetic.

Your companions will be stronger because you have a human at level 50. Having a sithpureblood at level 50 doesn't make any difference with anything. So seriously, you shouldn't be even complaining at this stage. Bioware could've easily just say "it doesn't apply to humans" instead of feeding ungrateful players like you.

He's a paying customer, he has the right to complain.

Considering this patch has been pushed again and again to who knows when, alot of people are getting antsy. I don't blame the guy.

Well, all I can say is the BBC version is much better than the SyFy version...oh, uh right, there are humans in this game? Hmm, maybe I should roll one up to see what all the fuss is about. Second thought, I think I'll just buy this one. Who wants to be a boring smelly ol' human anyways? If you ask me it's not a big deal, 100 presence sounds like a fine thing to unlock, considering you're only human.
