Desceptre Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 (edited) Would it be possible to have some features added, in pvp that require players to actually melee you to break a capture point. It is quite rediculous for certain melee classes to place bombs and capture turrets, when you are being shot from half way across the play field by some pansy caster or gunner. 1: Melee only should break the bomb set, or turret capture. 2: AOE should not break these either. Unless it is a melee attack. 3: Healing is supposed to be addressed in 1.2 but it needs alot of work. 4: Stun lock, a player stunned should be immune for 10 to 15 seconds. Or reduce the damage recieved while stunned to 1%. 5: I know classes are supposed to be evened out, but... Fighting a Healer should be tough, not impossible, and if they are speced healer then they are healers. Not DPS! healer specs should not be able to out dps any class. Which isn't the case for some classes. 6: Gunners and casters should have deminishing hit ability the farther away they are from the target. At max range they should be about 60% hit chance and get better the closer they are to target... Or do alot less damage for distance. Specially for healer speced classes. 7: Take away the ability for all gunners to run and gun continuosly. Most casster classes can't run and cast. Melee can't, or the target is out of range. It's unreasonable for a ranged dps to have to purposely go into melee range to interupt a cap, and then not even have their magic aoe ability stop a cap. It would make melee classes overpowered in these warzones, as they could just get to killing the ranged dps'ers right away. Besides, most melee classes have some sort of gap closer or way to snare or whatnot to get in close to people. Some healers can be quite impossible to kill sometimes I agree, especially when guarded. If I'm not mistaken most healing classes are getting slight nerfs in 1.2 (appart from scoundrels/operatives thank god) Having greater ranged misschance would also require a complete rebalancing of every class in the game, including melees wich would have to be nerfed.
