Title says it all.

Atm in a warzone its basically consists of two teams both made up of about 70% Sorc/sage or more. The side with the greater percent is probably gonna win.(Factoring in healers of course)

But after reading the patch notes it seems you guys got a rather large "adjustment" to both dps and more so healing. I hope the nerf won't be too much, but I digress.

Just wanted to say that I respect any Sorc I see in a Warzone post patch, And that this next patch will separate the true Sorc from the ones just wanting a easy win.

Much respect Sorcerers!

Your server must be slow. On my server, it's rare that I see teams on either side with more than two Sorc/Sages any more.

That's probably because on your server they are barely more than 2 people on the server at any given time.

I know this because I play on that server and am deciding to reroll on a more robust server.

Crazy! Yeah on my server it usually consists of at LEAST 70% Sorc. And I don't mean inquisitors including assassins. I mean just Sorc.

It may just be my server though.

You sure? Sorc icons are the same as Assassin Icons. Just take a look at who's got any protection points and that usually rules out 50% of the assassins. You can never be too sure though.

Pretty much half the player base are sorcerers. Did you guys really not expect some form of nerf?

We expected a nerf. What we didn't expect was a castration.

Ooook, so I'm being a bit sensationalist with that. Our sustained dps didn't take that much of a hit (about 2.5%), but our burst dps is almost nonexistent in any of our dps trees (and our dps pressure isn't really high enough to note unless you're referring to multi-DoTing, which is strongly limited by cooldowns).

Our healing is where the major pain is going to come. The change is workable in PvE, though it will take some effort and adapting, and like Seal of Blood in WoW's BC, will make Sorcs far from ideal in harder operation modes where manageable AoE can easily become one-shot territory with a poorly timed Consumption. PvP is where the serious hit is going to come, and I seriously suspect we're going to see a massive influx of dps/healer hybrid builds (like 23/0/18) as the new staple Sorc PvP builds. Sorcs, instead of being able to be solid PvP healers and passable dps (mostly AoE pressure) will instead become solely a pretty amazing support class and not much else.
