Yeah, 30% crit, with +5% from IA, and +15% from 2pc set bonus, gives tracer missile a 50% crit rate, and you can get 2 of them off every 3 seconds, which is the internal cooldown of Terminal Velocity. Obviously its just a rough estimate, as sometimes you wont crit for a few in a row, but on the average, half the time you will.

More crit certainly isn't bad, but it will do very little for your heat mechanic, so I recommend power after you have sufficient crit.

Does AIM top out?

I ask because of the choice of running more AIM or Power in an augment slot. I assume AIM is always the better choice.

Also, if you can't count on getting the IA buff, unbuffed crit to 35% might be a good cutoff. I say this because many times I run with PUGs and an IA is not present for the crit buff.

Aim does not top out, just like power doesnt top out, they have no DR.

If your crit is high enough and you can get power instead of aim I think it would be the way to go. The damage bonus from power is slightly higher than the damage bonus from aim/cunning/will/str. Its just that the main stats provide both damage and crit, while power only provides damage. So if you want more crit along with damage, go with aim. If you want raw damage go with power.

Crit has DR, but that DR is purely based on the crit rating value and has nothing to do with your aim crit bonus. They are two seperate ratings.

Its like if you look at tech in your character window.

You will have total crit %

Aim (value) = %

Crit rating (value) = %

Cunning (value) = %
