Mirdthestrill Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I thought it would be kind of fun to have Class lounges exclusive to each class on the fleet. Access come from your trainer at level 20. In your class lounge, there is: -A trainer -Your class-specific vendors (Rakata gear, PVP gear, etc.) -A special social vendor with social items specifically for your class -Training dummies -A live stream of whatever Huttball match is currently going on the equivalent of a bigscreen TV -Holochess -A class-specific minigame -A tips billboard where people can post messages pertaining to the class So, if you had a class lounge, would you hang out there?
Roccobb Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Actually, pretty cool idea. Put it in the class hangars for convenience since we already have class areas. Just make the door to your ship an instance instead of the entrance to the hangar...

In fact it would be more useful if it wasn't, because then you could have more socialization... Rather then say 4 different lounges with 3 to 4 people in each.

I think it would make more sense for light/dark/neutral lounges than different classes now that I think about it... But if they just added it to cantinas, I wouldn't complain about that either.
flyersfan Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 I like this idea a lot and would like to see it implemented on a new ship amongst the Fleet (in addition to the Daragov, Carrick Station, and the Telos [or whatever the Imperial versions are called]), which would serve as a more social hub than the current cantina on the Fleet that is quite terrible. The new ship could have a whole host of new things and one floor of the ship could be dedicated to being a large social space with a large cantina similar to the Nexus Room on Dromund Kaas or the Republic cantina on Taris. That cantina can then be surrounded by these class-specific lounges.

It's limited to a given class because all the other classes can socialize at any other time in any other place, and this brings members of specific classes together. But Flyersfan had a great idea in creating a central hub on a new ship, then having the class lounges split off of it.
