whitlecj Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 This probably seems like a dumb question but when looking at gear for your companion, how do you make the mouse hover popup compare the gear to the companion and not your character. For example, I am a JC and quite often get heavy armor drops that I can use for my tank companion. When I open my inventory and look at the item and hover my mouse over it, it compares the item stats to what is equipped to my JC rather than the companion. I have tried opening my companion screen and it still compares it to my JC and not my companions gear. Thus far I have just been comparing it manually but it would be much nicer if the popup worked for both my character and my companion. thanks.

Will not work on your ship or if the companion is out crafting something for you. I ended up designing a worksheet to write down all the values of all the items on all my toons and companions. Helps a lot when crafting, selling trash, or at the GTN. I wish there was a way to get at this data and print it out. Edited March 27, 2012 by Owsley
