At 29 PvP has been hard to say the least. I have a 61 Valor Assassin and a 70 Valor Sorcerer which I enjoyed leveling in PvP/Story immensely. Although Vengeance Juggernaut is amazingly fun to play, PvP is a disaster if I am not getting heals.

Light at the end of the tunnel? Intercede?

How do you guys do it at 50 in a PuG if you get 0 heals?

On my Assassin I Force Speed/Vanish and heal

On my Sorcerer I CC people, Force Speed and heal.

Juggernauts are both gear and ability dependent, you won't have very much fun with the class's PvP until around 40 which is when a lot of the talents and abilities that make the trees work really come together.

Vengeance needs the 5 talents in immortal (or at least 2 in enraged sunder) before the rotation with shatter is playable (And vicious throw for that mtter). Rage needs crush to function properly etc.

You will become tougher to kill at 50. I pretty much always run in Soresu stance as Rage spec. For survivabililty i use Warzone medpacks with endure pain religiously and saberward when needed.

Force Charge, Force Push, Force Crush, Intimidating shout and Intercede can all be used defensively to escape bad situations. Become comfortable using Intecede as it's a really powerful ability.

Getting swarmed? Intimidating shout, look for someone to charge or intercede.

Ok thanks, I'll wait a bit longer.

But its worrying to read I need to invest x2 points into Immortal to make shatter work!

I was planing on investing all left over point into rage -7-

For PvP it's worth putting 7 points into immortal as vengeance to get the free intimidation, though I wouldn't worry about that for now.

If you come from a class that can self heal, especially the Inquisitor classes, you probably notice a drop in "fun" as a Jug. You have to be very prepared for different situations. No more safety of being long-range and shielding, or vanish and run. You get caught sleeping by 2 or more people, your options become very limited.

When I made my BH, I noticed a lot less skill required. I'd just...kill people lol, simple. I see you, I shoot you, repeat (which is why the BH nerfs are fair in my book). Non-rage jugs don't have the constant Dps to just run up to anyone and stomp them (there's work involved), and having to chase people makes things even more annoying. But if you stick with the class, you'll learn to appreciate it. If you have a supportive team, you can be very successful. A single healer can turn a jug into a real monster.

What really helped me was knowing not to charge into a losing battle. Pick your battles carefully, especially if you don't have a healer. If you think you might not survive a battle, then stun and charge/intercede away.

Yep, this and I tend to build my Smash (with rage spec), force leap to a group of enemies, Smash, AOE Fear, target one guy and kill... intercede out if everyone unleashes. Sometimes I can kill 4 people at once if they have low health.

As veng w/o a healer just jump from 1v1 combat but I can handle 2v1 depending on the classes im facing. Juggs are beasts in pvp even if ppl say theyre not viable dps class.

Sure when you are either level 40+ facing mainly low levels in warzones or 50 and in the best gear facing lesser geared players...

Warriors at low levels (11-25) just suck in pvp. At late 20's you will finally have your mainstay CC abilities and your chances and fun in warzones increase alot. But the class doesn't start to shine until around mid 30 when you are able to unlock some key talents.

Now regardless of your level, until you get to 50 and manage to get full battlemaster, direct survivability in pvp will always be low, depending on only 1 defensive cooldown with a very long cooldown. (2 if you spec immortal)

That said, indirect survivability is actually pretty high thanks to the combination of an AOE-mez, AOE snare, charge, and intercede (charge friendly player). If you pick your fights wisely and are not in questing blue's at level 50 facing champions/battlemasters, you should not die that often thanks to your unrivaled mobility.

Unfortunately pre-50 you do no have intercede to get out of sticky situations. So you will just have to pick your fights wisely. Act as a flanker, charge an enemy already being attacked by someone else, run away when there are 5 enemy players heading for you, etc..

Marauders kill faster and thus people fear them, that seems like a great defense!

Until people start 'fearing' Jugs like they fear 'Marauders' it just won't matter.

SIs are early bloomers, whereas Juggs are late bloomers. If you stick with it, it gets much better, but it is harder to play.
