GasGuy Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Hi. I am under the belief that I can shift where my companion stands in relationship to me. Right now he's almost always directly behind (6:00) or to the left-rear (7:00). I'd like to move him to be more to my 8:00 position. <it's a digital age, Can i even make sense to the younglings using o'clock references?> Thanks in advance. GasGuy
TOURDallas Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 You don't have to do anything as of yesterday, daylight savings fixed your problem automatically. Anyways I don't think what you're asking for is possible, you'll have to get used to companions constantly blocking your way.
GasGuy Posted March 25, 2012 Author Posted March 25, 2012 Well... that's aggravating. But OK, it's the same for everybody. Thank you both.
Suepy Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Yes, they are like little children getting underfoot when you are trying to loot. Just readjust your camera angle if they are in the way.
Romiz Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 We can not control the placement of our companions.
matthiaskotor Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 The only thing you can do is toggle them into 'passive' mode (CTRL+2 by default, or their second hotkey slot), and then they will run to where you are. If you then toggle off 'passive' mode, they'll stand there and start shooting/healing from that location. If you tell them to attack something out of range, I *think* they will run into range of that enemy, but I haven't played around with this too much. There is no 'move here' command currently available for Companions.
