vaknyuszi Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 So i have just finished Ilum. At the end, in the last cutscene, as most of you know, Malgus declares war on the Empire saying its not the true one and calling the Emperor and the Dark Council "phonies. Despite in all the previous conversations i was supporting Malgus against the Commander (forgot his name), when he asks me to destroy malgus i have no other choice, but to wage war against him. Why? Why couldnt i side with him, like in the end of the 1st chapter of the IA, when i oculd side with Darth Jadus and be his "snitcher"?
Majestic_Jazz Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 I did not read your post for fear of spoilers. You DO know that there is a section in these forums 100% dedicated to spoilers correct? Why people fail to realize this I would never know.....
Giondi Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 They don't let it happen for gameplay reasons. If you side with Malgus, you would get locked out of Battle of Ilum and False Emperor. I don't know why you would even want to, he was pretty ok with the fact that you were probably going to die in the Foundry and didn't even bother telling you it was Revan in there. Seriously, **** that guy.

Like this: "Revan the Emo" is the last boss in the Foundry Edited March 25, 2012 by Tarka
Sivenom Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Meh. We might see a Return of Malgus somewhere. I'd totally hop on his boat, I'm all for alien equality. Yeah, we bleed like the rest of them, we should be used thusly as fodder like the rest of them! I wouldn't oppose it, I'm saying. But yeah, it's a little bit of a bummer we can't "side" with malgus. It's understandable why we can't, though. We'd get locked out of certain events. But let's be honest here. Anyone whose throne room consists of throne + some space + drop-to-nowhere.... and DOESN'T include railing probably hasn't thought their plan through all the way.
Altyrell Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Um, I don't remember being Jadus's "Snitch" while being the Hand of Jadus
