AngelousWang
People can never be satisified Its so sad This. 1.It has pants for the "gib pants" people. 2. it doesn't matter what it looks like oranges will be better, therefore few people will use it. With 1.2 you will be able to crit craft oranges and pull the armourings out of end game sets. Therefore as Oranges will be the best gear, as you can have endgame status+an augment. So you can look however the hell you want, just find an orange that looks that way. Edited March 7, 2012 by AngelousWang
Terrestrial
Saying "people will never be satisfied" is a very curt way to address what the OP is talking about. Cmon. Its a silly look and again tribal to the point of looking like it belongs somewhere other than what a sophisticated society would dream up. By the standard of "people will just pick up oranges" you are basically saying the same thing as the OP. Its bad looking and no one is going to wear it unless you are the kind of player that rolls around with a character name like Wtfpwndyou.

I can live with these over the top outfits being in game, but they should at least toss players who want the more traditional Star Wars look a bone. Hopefully they have multiple outfits not jut these with 1.2. I am hoping the Supreme Inquisitor outfit will be viable with this next patch. Its the only thing I have seen with a more traditional Star Wars look. Still looking for good BH armor. That ungly $#@$ in the pic above is not what I am looking for. All that amor is ridiculous looking IMO. If other like cool beans, but lets see something more classic, and simple please. Nicer stats will indeed be powerful but they lack set bonuses from Rakata or Battlemaster lines. Is this opinion qualified with "orange gear will be won to fill out the 2 set or 4 set bonus"? That set bonus is the only carrot Bioware has to offer some players, to make sure they need to hang around and do HM/NM PvE or grind Battlemaster PvP gear so I wouldn't think they'd sell it out so easily. Yes the set bonus will come with the mod. You will be able to transfer from chest to chest, helm to helm ect.

If you pull all armouring out of a set and put them in oranges the set bonus transfers too. This was in patch notes. Rakata or Battlemaster will be inferior and oranges, but you still need to get Rakata or Battlemaster gear first in order to get the Oranges superior. as you need to have it to pull the mods out. I have also read they could be allowing us to add Aug slots to existing armor. I hope that is the case. That just makes all gear potentially equal end game. PiffyEQ
Sorry this made me LOL. I was thinking Medusa until you posted the Alien Queen. I kind of wish they made SI armor look a bit more like the armor from Warhammer. It looked intimidating and sinister. Our armor just looks ...odd not scary/intimidating. In the Lore they put in about Inquisitors, they state : Asserting power and authority is one of the highest priorities for the Sith Inquisitors. Their choice of attire reflects this strategy, as they often prefer dark, high-contrast robes to express their sophisticated tastes and ambitions for political control. Nonetheless, despite regal appearances, great attention is given to ensure all their attire allows the flexibility for stunning acrobatics in Lightsaber combat. Of course, some Inquisitor outfits take expression to the highest extreme—designed to inspire sheer terror in those the Inquisitor comes into contact with. I don't find any of this to be true really. kainsec
I like the new design over the looking like a Minotaur (sin) or Cyborg Chicken (PvP set). Personally I prefer a simple dark robe with hood and mask myself rather than something excessive looking but better than the old sets

Queen_Ultima
I rather like it myself. For some reason I think it fits more for an Assassin (maybe my bias to casters wearing robes) but I personally like the look. It's odd. Mysterious. Arcane, almost. Like something from a civilization long gone (I'm looking at you, Rataka)... Ok, the loincloth is a bit odd, but it's definitely expressive. I find it funny that people complain that the Inquisitor's sets look wierd and flashy when the Inquisitor is a wierd and flashy (no lightning pun intended) class. Even the story has you (from what I've seen) by flashy in public to contrast your private sneakiness. It's like complaining that the Sith aren't nice people, they're not meant to be Also, to any and all people who whined for pants for Inquisitors, and now whine when they see this set... To quote a famous Comic-Book Guy: "Toodle. Oooh."

I think it looks cool. 'Sophisticated society' - nice way to describe the Sith bro. Inaccurate, but nice. 'No one is going to wear it' - of course not because everyone has the same tastes as you! Taste is NOT subjective. This outfit is simply bad looking! It all makes sense now! It's a wrap BW, we can throw this design out. Great Lord of the Galaxy Terrestrial doesn't like it. This is exactly what i was thinking, it has some voodoo feel to it, and i realy like the mask.. like shaman from diablo 3 olmost.. Anyway, i hope they wont be just having recollered sets for assasin/sorc i hope there will be some major differents between th 2 sets.

Nythain
Ugh. Ugly. There really needs to be a check mark option to appear in tradional simple black (maybe hooded) robes so get a crit crafted simple black robe, or not even crit crafted, pull the mods out of the pvp/pve gear, and put in what you want. only reason to shoot for a crit crafted is for augment slot so you can make it even better, but all mods out of pve chest into saber marshal robe = same stats, look you want. come 1.2 (when the outfits in question get introduced) you will even be able to pull out armoring slot, carrying over ALL the stats and set bonus. win win, we still have gear progression, as you'll have to get the gear to pull the mods out of, and we get customization so we don't all look the same and ugly. i find this upcoming system to be probably close to perfect, because it still creates a need for getting pvp/pve gear (for the mods), it adds to variety in looks (ability to put mods in customs) and keeps end game crafting viable, as our crits with augment slots will be in high demand (for that added bonus). anyone who has a complaint about this system is either ill informed or just flat out never going to be happy with anything. (Note: That rant was to all the "crafted gear should NOT/NEVER be better" haters out there) Edited March 11, 2012 by Nythain
