Stop Interupting my pvp with messages!

Why do I get companion messages in pvp!! Really, NO one ever thought they they should be pending like in cut-scenes. I can tell none of the developers and QC actually play pvp or they would see these things. Give us a toggle, no messages during pvp, make companion missions messages pending during combat.

It's inconvenient but I simply either send my minions out on missions that take a while (and hope I remember before I requeue) or not at all until I'm done pvping. This results in sending them out just before I logoff for the night :/

Between that and the targeting mechanism, I feel like I fight the interface almost as much as the opposition.

There was a thread about this a month ago... probably one before that as well at some point.

It's one of those absurdly obvious things that should never have made it into a release version of the game.

Has this not been changed?

Please add a condition into the code for companion mission returns - If player in combat, mission goes to pending (just like cut-scenes!)

Please continue bumping this thread until something gets done about it. It really shouldn't be a big or complicated change. I cannot understand why it hasn't been taken care of yet.

This (legit) complaint has been brought up often and has surely been noticed. There is even more to it (e.g. closing that dumb gtn window right after you painfully went through the options/pages), so I guess we'll see something like 'auto-pending' while other windows are open or infight in 1.2, iirc correctly it was even briefly mentioned on the summit.

There'll probably be some kind of reason why this fix hasn't been implemented, yet, from a developer's perspective - it's not that they don't care or want you to have a subpar gaming experience, you know...

Bashing over simple things is pretty childish and rarely gets you anywhere... SOMEone did think of a way to give players the opportunity to submit issues in-game.

Why don't you go try that out and quit QQing here.

God damned entitlement generation needs an attitude adjustment...

Love it when people like this "flex" their mad code skillz on the forums.

I'm guessing that if you were actually a developer, you'd think to yourself (assuming you'd read the QQ fourms), "why doesn't the retard use the /bug tool?"

I second this, that big ***** window pops up when the companion returns and I cant see the left side of my screen.

I love it when people like this put words into other people's mouths.

If it was a bug, I, and I'm sure many people would /bug it. It's not a bug, it's simply a bad design choice - This is the sort of thing that's always brought up on the forums. Obviously the actual coders aren't going to trawl through the boards; that's what community managers are for. The more they come across threads that point out legitimate concerns, the more they pass the information along, the more likely it is that it will get changed at a faster rate.

If there had been some kind of response from the aforementioned community managers then there would be no need to bring stuff like this up again.

There's a lot of crap all over the forums that does not need responding to - and it isn't. Legitimate issues like this should probably get a response so that the same thread doesn't continually come up.
