More sheilds (gear) please!

I'm a lvl 45 shadow, taking my time leveling up. I mainly PVP (like 95% of what I do). Been spending my comms ripping out +expertise mods from pvp vendor weapons.

 

I love owning the battlefield. I find that nobody < 50 bothers getting +expertise and instead just rush to 50.

 

But seriously, let me get to my main point. I've been stuck with a crappy little lvl 39 shield since forever. I never see anything better for sale on the market either. When I check to see what's available, the pickings are very, very slim.

Only 3 of those are in game and one isn't much better than what I have.

 

Can we get some more shields in game for us "squishy" tanks? I mean, it's the shield that makes us NOT squishy.

 

How about some shields with mod slots?

 

This shouldn't be too hard.

On my Artificer I have checked all the Schem's & cannot find one single craftable Willpower Shield. (Plenty of Focuses & STR / AIM shields, but no Willpower).

 

Not unless another class makes them which I doubt. Also checked the GTN & the only shields with WP are looted ones.

 

BW needs to add some in for us Shadows who have a tank spec!!!!

I agree! I've been trying to make Shield for my Shadow tank but none with Willpower so far :| which is weird, like it's being omitted

 

What to do? I was hoping there are quest rewards for these.. apparently not if you guys are complaining here

I ran into one every couple of levels while lvling through questing/FPs, though I agree there should be at least SOME added through crafting.

My main is a Shadow and an Artificer and I've made a concerted effort to track down every schematic that gives a willpower bonus and is a Shield. To date, I've found 4 on the GTN. None of these are over lvl 43. The shield I have at present is from a drop and is lvl 47-49 (Can't recall secifically). I also know that I've got lvl49 recipes for Str shields that I could crit to purple if I bothered but there's no point. I haven't found a single purple Willpower Shield yet. The best I can tell you all is to check the GTN regularly for folk selling them. Occasionally you'll get lucky and someone sells 'vendor trash' that is decent. Yes, I have artificing to 400. I've purpled out all the hilt at 49. Best I can say is look to Ilum and the daily commendation vendor. Even then I wasn't horribly impressed.

This is an issue that existed at launch. The only willpower shields out there are the ones you find, you will not find one that is crafted. :\

 

Bio-where's my shadow shield? >_>

 

BTW this wont be a problem once you hit 50 and just buy a shield from pvp commendations.

I dont care about level 50 gear, I am worried about how I can spec/gear out my level 10-49 Trooper and Sorcy. To help me smash the RED.

I've never seen a shield drop from a flashpoint, only focuses. I'm currently using the Red Reaper focus on my lvl 48 shadow, been wondering where I can get a shield for my level. There's a couple shields on the Belsavis commendation vendor, but they're below my level. I have yet to check the Voss/Corellia comm vendors for it, but I doubt they have any.

 

Do anyone know of a vendor that sells ~level 45 shields?

Battle for Ilum HM is Offhand token drop. If your lucky 1/25 might get a Shadow token the other 24 would be smuggler.

Check the commendation vendors, they might have it.
