Even though the casual ranked matches yield the same gear. (and i admit im not too thrilled about this but its not gonna make me lose sleep) But even though casual solo Q ranked matches are available. If you think about it, it will take then twice as long to get the gear. Their win/loss ratio will be much lower than that of a premade. At least it should be. Win/loss ratio is = to ammount of commendations more wins = more commendations. So if the solo ranked person plays 5 matches a day and wins 1-2 and the premade group plays 5 matches and wins 3-4 they will gear up almost twice as fast as the solo ranked person.

The only thing i dont like about this, is the fact u have the non casual pvper, that also isnt good. That person will Q up for 30+ WZ's a day and can grind out the gear at the same speed of a premade group winning 60%+.

But for the most part the split will be the simple fact that premades will probably gear up much faster than solo ranked players because of their higher win/loss ratio.

I propose we get something called "Solo Nightmare Raiding".

It's like normal nightmare raiding, only you can do it all solo and get the best PVE gear in the game from it

Bads will be bads.

Actually bads who NEED gear to be competitive in PVP will be bads. Which by the sounds of it.... Might be you ?

forgive me if i'm wrong..... but this:

" Their win/loss ratio will be much lower than that of a premade." shouldnt fly as if they queue as a premade, they face a premade, and both premades cant have a higher chance to win than the other.

If you guys are so skilled then why are you opposed to having to work as a team and beat other good teams to get the gear. Shouldnt be a problem since you guys are all so good.

They can only premade with 3 others, so I think solo players will still filter into the games with premades.

But if you are so amazingly skilled, why is your e-peen so threatened by solo ranking? Not to mention it is not like they are actually soloing the WZ, they will still have to work with 7 other players upon their team.

The fact that you are so bothered by this is funny. It shouldn't effect you AT ALL. If you are always grouping with others, you'll always play other premades. You're obviously the best pvp'er in this game, you'll have all the gear first. Woohoo for you!!

I like to be able to distinguish between the casual waste of space and the one actually contributing to the game by a quick look at their gear and title.

Having casuals trying to play in my premade games is actually worse than having them stand afk waiting to get the win. Atleast then they won't feed the other team the ball, take the ball and run around in circles or fail to pass it for the 10th time. If i see a War Hero random i can assume with reasonable certainty that he knows what to do and that he probably don't care about farming medals the whole game so i might pass him.

Its still only a 4 man premade until season 1, this is preseason.

I was more enticed by the sounds of tournaments, at least that brings more prestige to the winners.

Honestly though, I would prefer no gear in PvP. Remove this ridiculous post-wow emphasis on gear. I understand gear has been a part of all MMOs, and it's not that which I have an issue with, it's how our entire PvP, or the majority of player's PvP comes down to grinding for "gear". What happened to PvP'ing for respect, honour, or glory, overcoming a rival guild, or standing out as someone with real skill, and not just a noob that grinded for several months.

Getting back to the initial post, casuals getting gear doesn't affect you. A Casual wont beat a skilled player, let them have the gear so they have one less excuse as to why they lost.

And of course that fresh 50 couldn't be the alt of an experienced player, starting to gear up.
