Cavadus Posted March 5, 2012 Share Posted March 5, 2012 Yo Bioware, The armor a player gets to see while they create their Trooper avatar doesn't exist in the game. It's the generic high level set that's pretty much the only armor appearance available to us from L35+ but the important distinction is that it doesn't have the retarded looking backpack. Plus the color scheme isn't available in-game either. Also, I really miss the helmet from beta seen here. I had plenty of chestpieces in beta that matched the the chestpiece worn by the Trooper in the character creator. I guess the larger question is that will we ever see all of the awesome armor and weapons from beta returned to us? You gutted 75% of the looks going to live and it sucks since we're either forced to go the backpack set route with a choice of about three or four helmets or your god-awful PvP and raid sets that look worse than default L1 armor I got when I first rolled my avatar. And ripping the mods out of those sets really isn't going to help us a ton either since we really only have four moddable armor sets (backpack set, scout set, mercenary set, generic Clone Trooper set with the shoulder pads though the only available moddable boots that match come from the LS vendor). Could we get some more moddable boots and gloves for the generic clone Trooper set (I'm not LS so I can never have moddable boots that match even if hue to chest is ever introduced) and then the rest of our armor given back to us? And while we're at it could we please get a moddable version of the Republic Command Carbine from beta back? That carbine looked absolutely sick while the appearance you went live with looks horribad. TLDR: Give us back the other 75% of moddable gear that we had in beta. The closest thing I've found to the character creation armor was from completing the heroic 4 in the black hole... but it has the horrible backpack I would love to see the character creation chest peice added as a rare drop.
