Cruces
What is the most useful crafting skill other than Biochem? I have a friend that can already supply me with Biochem stuff. Also, looks like Bioware is nerfing Biochem and taking away reusable stiim/adr. Want to suppliment both of us with a different crafting skill. What crafting skill, and why, would be the next best one? (Probably playing Marauder) Edited March 6, 2012 by Cruces

GnatB
Unless you don't mind respecing once 1.2 drops, my suggestion would probably be to hold off on making a decision. And almost certainly don't spend a lot of time/money learning schematics that you may lose if/when you shoose to respec. The current crafting system is living on borrowed time. And unless we work for Bioware, none of us know what is going to be good/bad/broken come 1.2. it *sounds* like the current reuseables are it. As the level caps increase, there won't be new reuseables. They're going to be faded out. Now, that presumably means there still will be SOME use for them. Adrenals are so expensive to make vs. how long they last, that being able to use even "low level 50" ones in an unlimited fashion will presumably have some use. and yes, Grenades. Sounded to me that they won't be restricted to Cybertech in the future, so you could presumably always buy them if you aren't cyber. Now, will the savings on making your own grenades vs. buying them make up for having to buy whatever some other tradeskill makes? No clue. We don't really know that well what said other tradeskills will be making.
