lapanza
Just got a second exceptional Rakata relic... now i have 2 of the same kind... well, you know how the story ends First thought, this is probably just a problem with the game mechanics since the relics have identical names and so on. But after reading a few posts about this issue I am not so sure anymore. It seems the "problem" is more or less well known... but I could not find any satifying answer if this is intended or just awaits fixing. So... does anyone know of some statement on this? If there is none it would be nice to get one
Balth_azare
Working as intended. Craft two different relics.
lapanza
And you are 120% sure, exactly why? Sorry if I misjudge you here, but I did not ask for an arbitrary opinion. If it is based on more or less solid information please share it, otherwise... thanks for the obvious...
Kophar
Relics also known for trinkets in other MMO's allways worked like this. If u have the same relic that would give you the exact benefit, than they will share the CD but if they differ reguarding the stats that they will give, than they will not share the CD. The 2nd relic if its different from the 1st will have a 30 secs GCD from the 1st after you activate it but not the 2mins. Didnt know if i made myself clear here 1 thing is certain m8, IT IS working as intended. Edited March 6, 2012 by Kophar
lapanza
Relics also known for trinkets in other MMO's allways worked like this. Sorry, but that is no argument at all. I don't doubt that a shared cooldown is intended but in other MMOs there is also something called unique items. Well, I guess it is I who didn't made himself clear. I am just asking for facts no matter how semi-official they are or at best a yellow post, but not personal opinions nor superficial knowledge. Explaining rudimentary game mechanics is not really helping either.
Kophar
Man i was just pointing a fact how it is in other MMO's and that SWTOR follows the same policy, either u believe it or not. Im telling you what it is for real, so i really dnt care anymore if u buy it or not. Relics are working as intended period. Will not reply anymore to this thread, pretty much cause its pointless, sigh. Edited March 7, 2012 by Kophar
