The design of the UI is really nice, but I've noticed that except for a very few things, UI windows and whatnot don't really "pop." To see what I mean, look at this:

For some reason, that is just easier to read and decipher than what we have. What we currently see is a bunch of stuff with the same color properties as the background pretties that it is on (ie, the gold/yellow text and greens/reds and blue text are all basically the same as the background, just not as transparent). So I suggest having some changes made to the UI to increase contrast. Do we have to do something ugly? No, but just a few slight changes, like adding some "pop" to the acutal non-background stuff.

I'd take Bryzgalov and Brayden Schenn over Richards and Carter any day. Hartnell's beard is easy to see, the colours are soft and easy on the eyes, and I find it to be quite effective.

Yeah but Bryz is going to choke in the playoffs, /thread

Most likely. He put up a shutout tonight, though. He'll either have the post-season of his life or have a mental breakdown mid-game and let up 6 goals in the first period of the first game and the Flyers get swept again because no one remembers how to play hockey.

However, that has nothing to do with TOR or the UI.

Oh yeah, right... the UI. It's fine. Or change it. Whatever.

I'm really interested to see how far they go. There doesn't seem to be as much pressure on them as, say, Boston or even Pittsburgh. This could be their year. It's just too bad about Pronger.
