Arivael
Given that I saw the thing get consumed in a gaint fireball is KotOR I would like to now how it is relitivly intact on the surfece of a city planet that was on the reciving end of heavy orbital bombardment 300 years later. Spartanik
hun? you know what you see in taris is a mere fraction of the real ship. at least is pretty much my impression.
Aximand
I thought it was interesting, but I'd love to know how that thing survived an uncontrolled re-entry into atmosphere after getting blown up and then crashing into the planet's surface as intact as it did. LeContrapasso
I will say i was not happy to see Cera though. I hated them in KotOR. I was also under the impression that Taris was completely destroyed to the point where there were no plants or creatures left on the surface. Toonimator
The Endar Spire on Taris, biggest plot hole in the game currently, I saw it vaporize in Kotor! You forget Star Wars' serial influences... someone gets shot, is thrown off a cliff, gets sliced in two in one installment... they 'get better' in a later installment! This goes for exploding ships, too!

This goes for exploding ships, too! Hell Anakin got his limbs cut off and THEN was burned severly at the same time and still became one of the most powerful Sith Lords. Galen Marek got stabbed, and then was thrown off a cliff and nearly froze to death.

Bratprince
I will say i was not happy to see Cera though. I hated them in KotOR. I was also under the impression that Taris was completely destroyed to the point where there were no plants or creatures left on the surface. It was bombed, not death star'ed, most things were destroyed but its been over 300 years since that happened and the republic has been helping the planets "natural" healing process, especially with the Jedi Agricultural Corps. But I'm glad to see the Endar Spire, it was especially nice to walk her halls again!
Rayla_Felana
It was bombed, not death star'ed, Reminds me of when Karen Traviss wanted to use Alderaan as a place in Legacy of the Force, like 30 years after it was blown into space dust.
MGriffith
The Endar Spire on Taris, biggest plot hole in the game currently, I saw it vaporize in Kotor! Smoke and mirrors I tell you, smoke and mirrors. It was all a Sith trick to make you think that the Endar Spire was totally vaporised... Or maybe, it was a huge warship. Heavily armoured and forcefielded. When it exploded it broke up in some large and many smaller parts that crashed down on the planet below. That is after all what usually happens when something designed to withstand big explosions meets an explosion too big to withstand. From a military point of view it makes no sense to throw weapons at something that can totally obliterate something. That means you could have created tens or hundreds weapons equally capable of the job of incapacitating your enemy out of the same resources. The point is not to reduce your enemies to subatomic particles, but to render them incapable of fighting. For space ships that generally means taking out the propulsion, the powerplant and/or the crew. Any weapon capable of getting through the ship's defenses will do a real number on the vulnerable inside and if you get the powerplant to blow it will more likely than not cause the ship to break into parts, thus also fulfilling goals 1 and 3. But even that explosion is unlikely to do worse than breaking the ship into largish chunks (and more likely is to make a big hole in the side where all that explosive power took the path of least resistance). An explosion totally vaporising a heavily armoured structure only happens in Star Wars movies. Uhm ... I mean Hollywood action movies (the ones directed by Michael May). Osossko
I enjoyed seeing it as well. The haunting use of the score from the Endar Spire was great as well, brought back memories of the original game.
OldVengeance
It actually made me more sad than anything. There's so many continuity problems between all 3 Kotor/Tor games and this mostly just served to remind me of other problems I wish had been as cool as this and the fact that I wanted Kotor 3. Captain_Zone
I'll go along with the "It's only a small portion of the ship" line. Yes, it was a massive explosion out in space, but nobody takes into account the falling debris. They even stated on KotOR that the debris destroyed a sizable chunk of the city, even though you never get to visit the crash site until now. So I'll just say Yes, it was a blast to fight through the Endar Spire again, if only on a S&R op. Or in the case of the Bounty Hunter, to find your prey and bring him down. crazyplaya
tho i was thrilled that they had added the ship to taris, i was also very disappointed. OK we know the ship was blown up in space. But i am thinking, this could be a part of the ship that did not blow up or it could be a ship that was there but not seen in the cut scene... But exploring was just bah... when u explore the endar spire ships in both kotor 1 and 2, u will see that these ships are very big. And therefore u get to explore 4-5 rooms of it in swtor.... That was very disappointing! i wanted to see so much more of it. And exterior of the ship, deffnetly looks like it should have contained more ship interior. I agree that it would be very nice indeed if we get to return to the Endar Spire later to examine more of the wreckage. The quest in SW:TOR after all only required us to make a quick dash to the bridge and back out again. Does not exactly do the 'old girl' justice.
