KavikaDestroyer
4 players with CyberTech damage grenades with simultaneous use, decimate Alderaan points and Voidstar doors. Voidstar. Need to uncap a door? AoE CC Earthquake grenade. This grenade will be even more useful post 1.1.5 with DoTs being irrelevant to point capture. My teammates and myself have saved doors with this grenade. CyberTech is already better than BioChem, unless you're poor. In which case you can't regularly afford the 1 hour adrenals. Rakata heal pack? Nerfed to useless. The higher heal value made 400 Biochem worthwhile, but again, now it's simply a credit saver. If I'm not mistaken the PvP heal stim is on the same cooldown - and heals at a significantly higher value. ANY crafting profession post 1.1.5 will be better than BioChem - if credits are not an issue. People are swearing by BioChem for its credit efficiency, but don't realize how much more effective the other professions really are. Credits are like monopoly money in this game so I'm not too worried about dipping into the bank a bit. If I keep my 400 cybertech, which biochem pieces should I be targetting to buy? Jestunhi
+15% expertise (that's a flat 15% increase on top of your current expertise, not a 15% increase in your current expertise, ie if you already had 10% expertise this will give you 25% not 11.5%) for 25 seconds is much better than any of the adrenals biochem offers. 15% more damage done, 15% less damage received, and 15% more healing received, and a long duration.......best adrenal in game Pretty sure it's healing put out, not healing received. But I agree, the big advantage of biochem are the stims (and even that will change once enough people start selling the non-BoP non-reusable stims which the rakata share stats with), the expertise adrenal and pvp heal beat the biochem ones. Jestunhi
Expertise buff + Biochem adrenal > Expertise adrenal alone. -_- But somewhat reliant on being at the expertise buff and it being spawned & available when you need it. You are right though, when you have the expertise buff you would use a biochem adrenal.

anwg
Ok Nerf of biochem for 1.3 so now what is the best for PvP : Grenades or Biochem ? Grenades are on 3 minute cooldown, all but the epic ones are BOE and useable by anyone, so you can make them on an alt. Biochem is still better IMHO if you pug and PvE. dcgregorya
Well, for Biochem after 1.3 the only benefit will be Rakata medpack. So I guess it depends on what is more important to you - the group control affects from the grenades or not having to buy/replace the warzone medpacks. Personally I'll keep crafting the blue grenades from my cybertech and keep biochem for the medpacks.
thebadnick
18k HP With Biochem rakata Med = 4500 Hp back 18k HP With War Zones Med = 6300 Hp back 1800 Hp difference will save your life.

Yeah but the rakata has a lower cooldown. Honestly they both work fine. I prefer the Rakata because of the shorter cooldown lets me utilize it more often. Dunno what server you play but onmy french PvE serv it is the same cooldown for both rakata and WZ med.-> 90 sec Edited June 7, 2012 by thebadnick

The Adrenals have a different CD than the medpacks. So if you are still using rakata mepacks in pvp... you should stop. This was changed in 1.2. So it shouldn't be new information. The real benefit of Rakata Heals is saving your WZ comms to purchase Rated Comms to gear up faster. Its no stretch to go though 5+ heals in a match and thats ~1/3 of the Comms you make a match. That way you have rakata as a backup for if you run out of wz medpacks, but the much smaller heal on the rakata makes the wz medpacks so much better. Also as the game progress the wz medpacks will heal more and more as your HP rises while the rakata medpacks will heal the same.. so unless there is another higher version that comes out then they will gradually get worse.
