MAJOR EDIT - completely new.

<solo pve since start back in December>

I thought Corellia was the last of my storyline, turns out I had to go to Ilum, after FIVE HOURS of grinding through a side mission to save Corellia since I could not abandon it.

I get to Ilum with the stats that barely got me thru Corellia.

Ilum mod vendor - Only level 47 armor mods and a few barrels?! No other mods? I do not recall ever seeing enhancements sold at vendors (could be wrong, but been a while).

Ilum armor vendor - Only level 43 armor?!

With all the other frustrations with this game, I'm fed up, done.

Bioware does not care when people stop playing, as they have already made their hundreds of millions in profit, and will continue to do so as more people buy the game.

Rift was officially my first mmo. I played for about a month when it came out, but did not like it. I liked SWTOR for a while, but HATE it now.

I cannot buy stuff I want / need from vendors. I cannot craft stuff I want / need as I cannot obtain materials from crew missions.

I cannot buy stuff on GTN due to light population server - the few people on it are prolly looking for the same things. Sunday afternoon at 2:30pm, there was a whopping 10 people at Republic Fleet. I think it's averaged 2-6 people per world I've been on.

I've made upwards of THREE MILLION credits, had about 900,000 credits when I left Corellia - I was down to around 450,000 on Corellia, but gained some back. Much of it has been wasted on failed crafting attempts to get blues, and failed attempts at obtaining materials. I've easily wasted 10,000 credits attempting to get four "Orange Perfect Crystal" (something like that), for my artifice toon. I received two.

This was my first bioware game, and is my last.

I have pretty much finished the game. Bored really. I have full Columni so I really don't fancy running FPs anymore. I can't get into any guilds to do Raids so there is nothing besides grinding PvP for me to do.

The game is finished.

=( they made columi way too easy to get. I got full columi 2 days after starting HM FP's and doing Ops.

Having 4 pieces of loot drop per boss in an 8 man operation is ludicrous.

Having the same exact items drop fromm HM FP's , 8 and 16 man operations, Commendations vendors (tionese , columi) even hard mode operations drops some of the same items has 8 and 16 man normal ops and HM FP's. They recycled too much loot into too many different aspects of the game and then made the drops rates ridiculously high.

There is nothing satisfying about getting a full set of PVE gear in under a week and realizing there is only 1 set of items (not even a combination of differrent rare items, just a single set) that is better than what you have (rakata) its extremely demoralzing. I think its funny how they think adding orange items is somehow going to make gear progression better, its a nice feature but it doesnt change the fact that the gear progression system is designed horribly for PVE.

Also id like to note that they could have gone about making orange items a part of gear progression in a very real way. Here is what i think they should have done. Scrap the idea of the fully modifiable epics leave those the way they are. And add armoring drops into the game (that can be purchased through commendation vendors or from boss drops) that have set bonus's attached to them so to get a full orange set suddenly there is an actual different branch of gear progression involved where you have too get armoring mods for each piece of orange gear. Suddenly having a full orange set becomes a part of progression instead of something just to go along side it.

Everytime i see BW make decisions about end game i just face palm. ><
