Actual Constructive Criticism of current PvP

The first issue is the beams of light that reveal a player planting a bomb/taking a turret etc... I really don't see why this is in the game, it makes it easy mode to hold nodes. It completely removes the ability to ninja objectives which in alot of situations is the only way you would possibly get the objective. People should just be paying attention to what is going on and not have a HEY SOMEONE IS TRYING TO PLANT A BOMB OVER HERE!!!!! sign popping up.

The second one is the implementation of cc in game. There is no real reason to complain about the resolve bar. I think it works fine as is, however I have 2 issues, one that I have is that a majority of the cc's are not broken with damage. The other is the knock downs, which is essentially another cc that is not broken with damage. When you go to cc a target that you are attacking it should work as a soft interrupt not completely immobilize you. You should be cc'ing a target that you are not attacking that is why they call it crowd control.

Finally, targeting players is kind of silly. It has no place in wz's anyone that would make the argument for it is under 16 years old.

For now I believe that is the only arguments you can make for Pvp. You cannot say there is a problem with balance because when playing 8-12vs8-12 there is almost no possible way to see actual imbalance issues. If there were "Arena" style system in game with like 4v4 and the top 20% of people were all one type of team then you can make balance arguments... In wz style matches you cannot.

This is more for Bioware than the community so hopefully one of them read it if not I will get lost in the sea of "I lose 1vs4 I need buffed" posts

I don't mind the beams of light, but they really should take it down from 8 seconds to about 5. A well organized group can defend the first line of doors way too easily. And I regularly see groups of 3 defend turrets against groups of 6 or 7... all they do is AOE, knockback, and sprint back to the turret when they die.

And I say this as someone who benefits from those game conditions.

Ok.. constructive criticism is good.

Obviously, IMO the most apparent problem would be that the developers have not foreseen the enthusiasm and wild devotion people put into Bioware's first real MMOG.. and therefore, did not prepare enough PvP material to enjoy.

More WZs with differing numbers... a "middle scale" WZ with maybe 16~20 players per side would be nice for people who have issues with performance when in Ilum and its Ops vs Ops scale combat.

Just wondering because I'm fairly new to MMO's(At least caring about them and PVPing a lot in them...come from games like DiabloII then console FPS's)..........why is tab targeting bad in PVP? Because it is flawed itself or are you saying we should have to click to target?

So far my only complaints about PVP honestly are the beam of light(as you mentioned) and the people that play the game(whether it be people that aren't very good, which I can deal with...but the general gaming population really needs to grow up).

They are changing the speeders on The Civil War which I think may go a long way. It's got to be a tricky balance and I'd rather they make small corrections than over correct. I also prefer the favor to be with the defender, if anything. While it does favor a skilled team much more, I prefer a favor given to skill than a favor given to randomness.

I just want to know if the Trinidad Scorpion Butch T is really still hotter than the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion.
