Players affected by a Damage Over Time ability are no longer interrupted when interacting with objectives.

 

Well there goes what little utility IA's brought to voidstar and civil war.

 

It was OP anyway IMO. I wouldn't mind seeing them lower the time to cap from 8 seconds down to 5 or 6 as well to be honest. 8 second cap time encourages poor play. You should not be able to fight like an idiot 30 yards away from being in range to interrupt someone at an objective and still be able to reliably make it back to the objective in time to prevent a cap.

Yeah our 'area denial' abilities like Orbital Strike, and a fast run in and Cover Pulse are gonna be more in demand. I might even consider an argument to 'keep the IA alive' if your warzone group understands enough of what we can do. Very high utility for us.

So the DoT we have--THAT EVERY CLASS HAS--is gone, leaving our unique cast-and-run AoE and spammable weaksauce AoE and short cooldown AoE knockback, those all stay the same. BUT OUR UTILITY IS GOOOOOONE!
