Vydor_HC
I've just started keeping up with it since people starting saying how close it is to DAoC. I have to say it's very tempting. and IBTL

That in and of itself is head and shoulders above what's currently on the market, or in the pipeline. I've seen some videos and they look really interesting, enough for me to get over my aversion to GW1.
Cromica
I know GW2 has PvP, so asking as a PvP player will you go? I would go to GW2 even if I wasn't a pvper. It is going to be so far and above what is in this game.
Evilpingu
Guild Wars 2 has a lot of potential and from the videos I've seen and articles I've read, it looks to be the cream of the crop of existing MMOs and those on the horizon. Kudos to ArenaNet for trying new things with an MMO rather than trying to cram recycled junk from existing games into, oooooh say, the Star Wars universe
Haeso
That in and of itself is head and shoulders above what's currently on the market, or in the pipeline. I've seen some videos and they look really interesting, enough for me to get over my aversion to GW1. They should have just made a new IP or at least changed the name instead of a direct sequel. Every time I hear GW2's feature list I want to like it, I really do. Then I remember GW1 and I want to vomit.
Mannic
If GW2 offers a reason to PvP beyond gear grinding I'm there. TOR is ridiculous with "the reason you PvP is for gear, and the reason you need gear is so you can more easily grind for gear." You know the PvP sucks in a game when you realize that once you have the best set of gear the game offers virtually no reason to PvP anymore. lethal_ghost
I will try it defiantly and it wont take alot to beat PvP in this game to keep me there
CogitoErgo
GW1 was great, so yes GW2 is not coming soon enough. There really isn't any comparison in modern MMOs as far as PVP is concerned. I'd argue that GW1 is still one of the best MMO PVP systems ever made. Hopefully, GW2 is just as good.

If geargrind is anybodys only reason to pvp, he won't be happy in GW2. And i'm really glad these people won't be there. Wombraider
If noting smart don't change world pvp here then yes i will go! Open world pvp will never get better, the Hero engine can't handle it.
Gwal
After watching this beta vids, this is all I have to say to Arenanet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QfSzgV1q5g If GW2 offers a reason to PvP beyond gear grinding so that you can get gear that will help you gear grind more easily, I'm there. ^^This also^^ In truth I will buy the game, and once it is bought I will play it without having to sum up whether it is worth a subscription. This game on the other hand wont get a sub from me, my timecard is almost out and I will miss trolling the forums more than the actual game. That is not to say SWTOR is crap, it's pve is immense, it's class balance is exceptional for a young MMO, but the PvP is just lacklustre after a couple of months of grind. Cromica
Why is GW2 great. 1. My friends and I can do everything in the game and no one is stuck being a healer. 2. WvW pvp in a area that right now can hold 1200 people total with little to no lag. 3. WvW pvp that you can start as soon as you finish the tutorial and can level all the way to 80 in. 4. Hot join battle grounds, pick one from a server list like an fps game, if you team sucks find another. 5. The class combos are amazing. 6. No traditional quests. 7. No end game gear grind. 8. The HoM unlocks I have waiting from GW1 9. Classes don't have 9000 abilities to shortcut. 10. The world feels alive.
Khanic
I plan on going to GW2 anyways. I've been watching it since they announced it. I got 50/50 in my HoM on GW1, came here to blow time till it gets released (Which from the way they are talking is going to be this year) and then I shall dump this game like a bad habit except I wont get those phone calls at 3am to come back and play. In short, GW2 can't come soon enough.
Evuke
definitely, and i won't be coming back.
Dystopic
I'm going to give it a try. That doesn't mean I'll dro this game if I still find it entertaining. GW2 has no monthly and has done a lot to remove grinding in terms of PVP so I don't see the need to switch from one game to the next.
