Baaleos
I have no idea what his race is - but Im guessing by the fact that he was the only one of his kind seen in the Saga, that he must be an endangered species or something. But that not to say that they would have been, during the time of the Old Republic. Is there any chance of getting Yoda's species as a playable race? I know some logical, playability issues may arrise, such as 1. Angle - Players POV being set to knee height might be nasty. 2. 3 Fingered 3D Models - cant re-use typical templates you already have. 3. New Clothing options required. Im thinking that as far as the species goes - we could have customization options of skin being shades of blue/turquiose, and green etc, maybe yellow and orange/redish. Imagine a bunch of green yoda-like frogs running around Republic Controlled land etc It would be fun to watch. Yoda is often seen as the poster boy for the 'Light Side' of the force. We often associate Human or maybe 'Sith Pure blood' with the Dark Side Since we have Sith Pure blood, it makes sense that we should have a Yoda Race. Dayfax
No chance. Lucas has never even given the race a name, and any details about it are kept "secret." Yoda is meant to be unique, at least insofar as you'll only see one (Vandar, etc) representation of his race at any given time.
KrishnaeMarcelle
"They have Master Yoda's species listed as Lannik, and his midi-chlorian count at 4 million. That's just ridiculous!" ―Coleman Trebor[src] The Jedi Master Yoda was the best-known member of a species whose true name is not recorded. Known in some sources simply as Yoda's species, this species of small humanoids produced several well-known members of the Jedi Order during the time of the Galactic Republic. source: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Yoda%27s_species

In episode 1 they counted Anakin's midi-chlorian count at 10,000....then commented about how that was even higher than Yoda's. As far as what the race actually is I have no idea...just wanted to correct the midi-chlorain thing

Hmmmm... Me thinks Yaddle (the female of Yoda's race on the Jedi Council) would be rather disturbed by you saying that
