I have not played an assassin.

Today i am comparing mara and assassin to choose an alt. Then i saw this description of discharge:

Unleashes your current lightsaber charge upon the target, applying an effect based on your current charge. Only usable with a charged lightsaber. Requires a double-bladed lightsaber.

Lightning Charge: Deals 7957 periodic energy damage over 18 seconds.

Dark Charge: Strikes up to 5 nearby enemies, dealing 1694 - 2733 internal damage and decreasing the targets' accuracy by 5% for the next 18 seconds.

Surging Charge: Deals 4685 - 5725 internal damage.

That is some pretty big numbers in there!

someone please explain how discharge behaves in 50 pvp?

There, i have explained how it behaves in 50 pvp assuming you have 10k+ willpower

5700 internal is pretty damn big numbers, is this skill as useful as it looks?

Depends on your spec.

For Deception, it, along with maul, is the skill you should be basing your play style around. For Madness, slightly less so, but yes, it still a very good skill in PvP.

My highest Discharge is 4.8K

That 5K Medal still eludes me.

Marauders are better in 1v1 then Assassins to.

Still getting 5.5k+ Discharge crits as decep (on fresh 50's Grantede) or 5k on geared with stims etc. stacked.

The numbers from Torhead seems to be on a character with 10000 willpower and do not reflect their real in game values, though it does give you an idea of the magnitude of the ability (Lightning Charge's total damage is always about that % more than Surging Charge, since it's a dot).

5800 tooltip damage Surging Charge would probably one shot an enemy with Recklessness + Surge adrenal after you add all the extras that modify the damage.
