brgnomnom
as an assassin, my survival in warzones depends on whether i can get back into stealth or can seethe to get my health back up. unfortunately it seems that the time it takes to get out of combat so i can do these things is inconsistent. is this a bug or is there some other mechanic that i am not aware of? i instantly leave combat after killing someone with no other enemies close but if i run away from a fight so i can restealth or get some hp back i have to wait near 10 seconds some times. just very tired of waiting so long to heal up or stealth just to have a ranged enemy come out of nowhere and finish me off. if i had a self heal this wouldn't be a problem. brgnomnom
i counted out waiting 15 seconds to leave combat in a wz even though i had run some 30 feet away from a fight and around 2 corners, had no dots on me and no enemy in sight or attacking me. *** is wrong with this shizz? i need to be able to use seethe and re-stealth consistently in wz's without standing around waiting for an enemy to happen past to **** me. Notsensible
I'm pretty sure it's not exactly based on time. Distance is the primary thing from what I've noticed (a bit like in PvE agg). If you can manage to gain a certain distance from your target (as well as anyone else that is connected to your in-combat status), and possibly wait a bit (though that may not even be a factor), you'll go ooc. I know this because of some minor tests I did, I attacked someone and did nothing (nothing had been done to me) for at least 20sec, but did not go ooc. However, when I attacked someone, then ran away (used Force Speed as well), I was ooc in around 10sec total time. brgnomnom
distance? i can't think of a worse way to implement this mechanic. is it not obvious to everyone that as a melee non healer, i have to run some 30m farther than a ranged to use my out of combat regen? how is that balanced at all? raboom
You also sometimes have to unclick on whatever enemy you were in combat with earlier.
