Feel free to move this where it needs if Im not on the appropriate thread. I have noticed quite a few issues with the game, not to mention the slow diminish in server populations. I might be able to help clarify some issues and suggest a few things that might help you all out. Note, I have followed bioware for a long time, and love your games, but you are fresh to the mmo world and I hope u take some of these suggestions to heart. You will more then likely see a bunch of kids trolling this post, so be aware of this when you read what may follow my post. Some people just enjoy trying to make others miserable.

Now I know u are struggling with the many bugs that still plague the game, for the most part, its the the main cause of so many leaving swtor in ur early stages. I am certain these will come to a end soon enough, but the resolve bug in pvp, and some of ur quest bugs I would suggest being a main focus of repair. These two bugs freeze progression in both pvp and pve aspects of your game.

I also note that, though your story lines are great, u offer a linear game. We go along a preset path planet to planet just grinding quests, to end up on illum pvping, and doing the same heroics till we are top geared, and left with nothing to do but play alts.

Might I suggest you add some fluff and free roam. In fluff, I mean add some games and social stuff outside the pve and pvp quests. Such as Pazak, give us points, and prizes. Stuff that wouldnt really effect the players stats or anything, just give us some incentive to play. Have us play against others, add them and some other games for mere fun and challenge to play with other players to add a social aspect to the game.

I would also suggest giving us the ability to buy property. You can arrange this like a instance located on various planets where we can buy a home, and decorate it. You can also have quests, and hidden items to which we could piece together hard to get items for pure decoration. It gives players something else to occupy their time when either frustrated with the usual quests or pvp aspects of the game.

Add some free roam aspect, places to explore, and side stuff for amusement within the enviroment to which we could react. Both on planets and in space. A free roam space travel, to where we could taxi people, as well as explore various areas and run into space combat with full control of our ships would be nice.

Id also suggest stylist to be placed at the capitals, so that people can change their appearances even after their creation, give people some more choices with them, and colors for hair and so forth. Can cost credits, as to build somewhat of a economy as well as give us some unique qualities to our characters to which u can add throughout the game without completely rewriting stuff.

Id also like to see ship customizations, mostly cosmetic, doesnt have to be a new gun or look, can be as simple as a paint job with maybe a decal for unique flare.

I would also like to add, some side things like dances, or playing instruments in cantinas could be fun. Side skills with no real purpose but socializing. Be fun to hang out in a cantina playing some classic star wars tunes and chatting while my companions are off on crew skills.

The small things make a huge difference, and the quicker u set it up, the more people I can see sticking around, or even adding to the already thriving population. As great as each story is, not everyone in the game is interested in playing every class to 50, some wish to stick with one main, and still have things to do. MMO's are all about the social aspects, and the fluff is key in creating a thriving community.

Might I also add, u could use some in game gms, people who actualy address each player in game. These notes and having to run to forum just to get a genaric responce does little to inspire trust in the services rendered. Despite my many spelling errors (to dang sleepy to address them as is), I hope u see the reasoning behind these words. I can assure you, if looked into, and done properly, it will only ensure a long future for ur mmo. You have to evolve with the community and the game, Find a balance of where to hold ur ground, and change for the betterment of all. And thats all I got. Have any more to add, feel free.

I am certain these will come to a end soon enough, but the resolve bug in pvp, and some of ur quest bugs I would suggest being a main focus of repair. These two bugs freeze progression in both pvp and pve aspects of your game. They are also focusing on these, even if they don't say they are. They have more than one team and each team works on a different thing, so many things are looking to be patched and added.

I also note that, though your story lines are great, u offer a linear game. We go along a preset path planet to planet just grinding quests, to end up on illum pvping, and doing the same heroics till we are top geared, and left with nothing to do but play alts. They will always be adding content for lvl 50s and I expect them to raise the lvl cap with an expansion pack in the future.

They have mentioned they will be adding pazaak in the future with other mini games, but they are not prioirity (though I wish pazaak was lol)

I like this idea, though it does smell of SWG and Im worried Bioware will think "nope, we wanna be different to SWG!" though I do understand their point....but the people want this and they can't ignore that.

A free roam space travel, to where we could taxi people, as well as explore various areas and run into space combat with full control of our ships would be nice. I would LOVE to have free roaming planet and space, space would be easier for them to do because making whole planets to explore is insane to make (but Bioware have done more insane things in the past) and as for control of ships during combat, it would be better to let the player choose in the menu (auto/manual) because some like it and some dont.

This is good because like in real life, you sometimes wanna change your hair style etc

Id also like to see ship customizations, mostly cosmetic, doesnt have to be a new gun or look, can be as simple as a paint job with maybe a decal for unique flare. THIS! I want

Who knows what will happen here, ive seen companies just give up and have like two people doing damage control (which sucked in the end) and Ive seen companies go "oh crap, we need more staff! HIRE HIRE!" so im curious as to what bioware will do. Despite other people, ive had good experiences via email and phone so I cant really complain.

I agree with you on most points matey :)

Hey Guys,

I'm so ditto'ing exactly what Twaggy has said, He's made a exceptional feedback to each of the focused aspects of improvement. I must certainly say Bioware don't lack in customer service one little bit, but they do lack in consistency of their excellent customer service. I remember several times with the in-game help I had just completely scrapped the request due to day's mounting up waiting, this will cause many people to get frustrated and sadly will knock many people away.

One certain thing I would suggest that Bioware focus on as well as all the key aspects of the comments above, Please! if you see a error with end game tier gear, sort it as soon as possible, I can't stress that enough! I've had no end of my friends turn away from SWTOR due to the fact that many people are End Game Players. Something goes wrong with End Game progression, unfortunately you are going to pay the price of people leaving and returning to a already fully polished game. This reason they left was due to seeing patches come and go and no hot fix or even mention of fixing it. The only concern I have is that you're able to get the best gear possible just by doing Hard Mode Flashpoints, Operations are pointless at the moment, Columi gear is technically better than Rakata. This is a massive factor that needs sorting. I'm sure they are already working on this but if not they really need to! :)

That is my only issue with the game. Other than that, I believe in Bioware and I'm a huge admirer in their work, SWTOR has by far the greatest potential that I've ever seen, it's now up to Bioware to sort out the known and to keep developing great future content.

Thank you,

Best Regards,

Juicy

Those are some nice ideas and I would like to suggest a few thing to help people and their video lag problems.

1: Add a clipping plane which you can scale the draw distance.

I don't know about the rest of you but I honestly don't need to see the mountain twenty kilometers away.

How would this help? Well it would cut down on the CPU & GPU bottlenecking for having to draw things so goram far away that don't even matter.

2: Upon reaching the Fleet make it so there are no more than sixty people in one instance of the Fleet.

I have a pretty good system and when I load up onto main area of the fleet during peak hours with a good 300people up there; I lag like a mofo for ten minutes till everything catches up and even then its still pretty bad till I go to another place.

How would this help? People DO NOT need to all be on one instance on the fleet whatsoever. Trading? switch to another instance for it. Flashpoints? Doesn't matter if your all in the same instance on fleet, once your in the FP your all there together any frickin' way.

3:Turn off Sky or something like that. I don't look up in the sky much and don't really need it to be drawn causing more CPU/GUP usage in an mmo.

How would this help? Ever played EQ? yes everything I've stated are features from day one in EQ (not EQ2 *******) and all are relative things in making Raids do smoother and for people with less than perfect computer able to play.
